 Chapter 35 *Accident*

Alex's POV

Matagal kaming nagkatitigan, in one split second, parang gusto ko nalang lamunin ako ng lupa sa kinatatayuan ko. It's like everything just sunk in on my mind. I'm pregnant.

I'm freaking pregnant, and God knows how much I wanna cry infront of this man right now! I wanna curse him to death for ruining my life! I just can't believe I've loved a monster like him. He's the reason why I'm broken, yet I just can't search the right reason to unloose him.

"Pre, pagpahingahin mo muna si Xandra. Tara?" Miko stood beside me and grabbed my arm. Ford didn't break his eyes with mine.

"No. I need to talk to her. If you want you can leave." Ford stated.

"Don't mind him, Miko. Hatid mo ko sa condo?" I smiled at Miko. Nung maglalakad na sana ako, I heard Ford cussed.

"Shit, Alex! Don't make me look like a stupid here!" He hissed. Maraming tao na ang nakakapansin sa kanya. Malamang namumukhaan na siya. Pero wala akong pakielam. Why would I?

Kinalas ko ang pagkakahawak ni Miko sa braso ko at lumapit kay Ford. I lowered my voice, to make sure that he's only the one who could hear it.

"Do me a favor, Ford. Please lang, lubayan mo ako. Sawang sawa na ako sa mukha mo." Then I smiled. Tumalikod ako sa kanya and I called the attention of the crowd. "Everyone! Ford Schneider is here!"

Hindi magkanda'ugaga yung mga tao, knowing na ospital yun pero halos mabaliw silang lahat nung narinig nila ang pangalan na Ford. Dinumog siya ng mga tao, which was the reason why I got out.

Eventually, hinatid ako ni Miko sa condo ko. When we arrived, he hugged me tightly. Well, ano pa nga ba? Yun naman ang papel ni Miko sa buhay ko. He's always the one making me feel good, he always comforts me.

"Xandra, sino ba ang ama niyang dinadala mo?" I wanted to laugh when he asked me that question. I can't believe na hanggang ngayon clueless pa din ako kung sino ama ng magiging anak ko.

But my instinct tells me it's Ford. Sino pa nga ba? Siya lang naman ang nakauna sa akin. But I'm still having a second thought.

"Ford?" I shook my head. "I don't know, Miko." Then there was I, crying again. Di ko matanggap. Ayoko tanggapin.

He held my face and wiped my tears away.

"Tristan should know this." I got goosebumps. Nakaramdam ako ng matinding takot. Ano nalang ang sasabihin ni Tristan sa akin? Umiling ako.

"Miko, ayoko mawalan ng bestfriend. Miko, please let's keep this a secret. Please.." Naiiyak na naman ako. Secret? Tanga na ba talaga ako? As if pwede mangyari yun.

"You'll just make it more complicated, Xandra. I can't keep this a secret. I care for you, Alex. If he leaves you, call me. I'll be with you, I'll never abandon you, Xandra." He then kissed me on my forehead. Mas lalo lang akong naiyak sa ginawa niya.

"Miko, paki-sampal nalang ako sa itatanong ko, pero masakit na ba?" I asked him worriedly. He smiled.

"Oo, Xandra. Sobra pa sa sobra ang sakit na nararamdaman ko ngayon."

"P-Pero, bakit hindi mo pa ako iwan?"

"I would never do that, unless you find the right guy for you. Sasaluin kita, Xandra. Sasaluin lang kita ng sasaluin, hangga't kaya ko pa. I guess I love you enough, to not leave you behind."
