Deduction
If a person scratches their scalp frequently and doesn't have dandruff or lice, then they most likely have anxiety problems. Anxious people sometimes pick at their skin and will become self conscious about the marks. Some then try to localise the picking of their scalp to beneath their hair. Check a scalp-pickers arms and jawline for discoloured or irritated skin, and check their cuticles for scabs. If there are scars built up in these areas, it indicates they're struggling with a chronic anxiety problem.
