Persuasion
To convince your target, you must adapt your opinion to their system of values. In this instance, system of values equate to statements that your target already agrees with.
Ex. Dr. Watson likes to think of himself as a benefactor. He will easily become persuaded to help or take action if you mention the good your idea will do for the people.
