Deduction
If the dried blood on a blade is of the darker brown red type, then it is a deep cut. If the blood spots look shallow and light brown, then it is a shallow cut (usually leading to there being more cuts). There is no definite way to determine how old the blood on the blade is, unless you're a forensic expert.
