When indoors, look at the way a person is dressed. Tourists will pack for the perceived weather, often dressing for weather in extremes. They may be dressed too warmly or not dressed warmly enough if they expect the weather to behave predictably. Look for shorts or t-shirts on cooler days, or an unworn coat on warm days. Someone travelling may only have brought a few options with them, narrowing their choices for weather-appropriate. Tan lines and the amount of tanning on a person's skin may also be a good indicator for how long they have been in the area.
