"I can't believe this . . . " Ally said, her voice empty as her expression was, staring at the poster of Justin Timberlake on her wall. "It's a good thing though because, girl, the upgrade."

"How did it even happen?" Camila asked, her brown eyes shooting up at Lauren, who didn't meet her gaze.

"And how did it happen twice already without us knowing?" Dinah added, her brows furrowed in agitation. "It's the fucking Y/N Ryford, Lauren! You should've told us when it first happened!"

"Uh, I knew about it?" Normani piped in, causing the three girls to glare at her as she flicked her hair. "Can't blame me that I'm her favorite."

"No offense but you're not my favorite, Mani," Lauren said quietly, fidgeting with her fingers. "I mean, I love all of you equally. There's no favorite here because all of you are my favorite."

"That's sweet, Lo, but I'm jealous." Camila glared at her fellow Cuban. "I thought our Cuban butts are the closest? Why did you tell her first before me?"

"Camz," Lauren scolded slightly.

"I'm kidding." Camila giggled, turning her body on Ally's bed so she was lying on her stomach.

Lauren was slowly starting to feel guilty that she wasn't telling her friends on what's happening between her and Y/N when they always shared whatever's going on with their lives. It's part of their sisterhood and they promised to be always there for each other especially when times like this come—times when Lauren doesn't know what to do anymore. She told them everything—from how Y/N stole her first kiss, how she gave her her virginity, their night at Poseidon, how Y/N knew that she was Little Lauren from her past, how she let Y/N fuck her in the restroom at school, and why she wasn't talking to Rick right now.

"That explains the look you had when Y/N and Megan came up at the dance during Homecoming," Ally concluded. "Were you jealous?"

"What? No," Lauren answered immediately, scoffing. "I'm not jealous. I don't even have feelings for Y/N."

"Oh, don't you?" Dinah smirked, inching forward on the bed so she could see Lauren's face clearly as she sat on Ally's computer chair. "Then why do you keep on fucking with her?"

"Dinah!" Ally chided, referring to Dinah's choice of words.

"Okay, I'm sorry." The Polynesian rolled her eyes. "If you don't like her, why do you keep your thing with Y/N? Like the frickle frackle thing?"

Camila and Normani couldn't help but laugh at the effort Dinah put to rephrase her question whilst Ally shook her head as Lauren blushed.

"I-I don't know . . . " the green-eyed girl retorted nervously. "It's hard to explain. Y/N is like—she's like this thing your mother warned you not to do but you still do it anyway because something in it thrills you and makes you curious, you know? It's like doing things you shouldn't be doing but doing it makes you feel good—makes you feel alive—and then you don't realize that you're already . . . addicted with it."

"You mean drugs," Camila deadpanned. "Lauren, you're the best with english—how can you not just say drugs?"

Dinah clicked her tongue and slapped Camila's arm lightly. "Shut up and let our girl be the poetic sap that she is."

"I'm not a poetic sap," Lauren defensed. "And I didn't say drugs because I don't know what that feels. I've never done it."

"How about weed?" Normani inquired.

"No." Lauren shook her head. "Not even close to cigarettes."

"How can you be hot as hell and be a total saint?" Ally voiced out, making Camila chuckle.
