"What the fuck are you even doing?" Y/N muttered as she stared at her cat slowly crawling up to her bed.

Victoria didn't fall back and went on her journey until she was cuddled up beside Y/N's neck, the Siberian cat contentedly pushing herself further into her owner's neck as if it was her second home.

"Tori, didn't I tell you not to be so clingy like you're my girlfriend?" Y/N asked her pet although she was certain she would never answer. Tori looked at her expectantly, her almost neon green eyes staring back at her. "Get off."

And she couldn't push her away because she was holding a controller. She was playing Resident Evil VII before this spawn of devil came and decided to cuddle her.

Victoria took a step back, making Y/N sigh in relief and she was focused on her game again but not for long because the Siberian cat was slightly clawing on her hair, begging for attention.

"No, go away," Y/N said, dodging a monster and running as fast as she could with the console. "Tori, no."

Victoria seemed to do the opposite of everything Y/N was telling her to and she hopped on her owner's head, settling there as if it was a nest and she was the mother bird. Too much for being a cat.

Suddenly, her door opened and Cash came in with a wide grin on his face.

"Hey—dude, what the fuck is your cat doing on your head?" He asked, eyeing Victoria suspiciously who was simply chilling on Y/N's hair.

"Makes the two of us," Y/N scoffed, not even pausing her game. "I don't look like I could talk feline, do I?"

Cash sighed before plopping down on the foot of Y/N's bed. "Anyway, I brought you something."

Y/N rolled her eyes before yelling, "Come on, babygirl! Show yourself to daddy and I promise I won't bite unless you tell me to."

And Lauren stepped inside the room, only waiting for Cash's signal but since Y/N was the one who gave it, she went in anyway. She pushed the urge to roll her eyes upon the billionaire's statement and took a hesitant step in.

"Uh, hey," Lauren said timidly, and her voice made Y/N to actually pause her game. "I hope you don't mind having a visitor today."

Y/N had her brows furrowed and it amazed Cash how she could do that with a still fresh cut on her left eyebrow.

"What are you doing here?" Y/N questioned, and she didn't have the same harsh tone she used before. It was more of a bewilderment and confusion.

"I came here to visit you," Lauren answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. She took a moment to scrutinize Y/N and wished she hadn't—her face made her flinch.

Y/N's face was littered with cuts, her knuckles that was holding the controller have wounds, her left cheekbone sporting a huge and dark bruise and her left eye was quite swollen, her right temple has a cut too, the bridge of her nose had a bandage across it, and her lower lip has a dry blood, another cut residing on it. Lauren didn't miss the fact that she was shirtless, wearing only her bra and an ice pack was placed on her rib. She could see the bruises there too and she forced the tears back before they notice that she was on the verge of crying. This girl lying in front of her was beaten up by three guys but she managed to turn the tables around and send one in the hospital. Lauren didn't know if she'd feel proud or worried that Y/N took her entire body to defend herself from her boyfriend.

How could they team up and fight against one girl?

But then Lauren thought of the things Y/N did to trigger Rick's anger and she didn't feel as mad as she was. Maybe Y/N deserved this too. Lauren had to remind herself that her boyfriend's in the hospital right now because of her.
