Lauren began to stir, stretching her arms blindly and feeling the empty space beside her. She frowned as she opened her eyes slowly, until they settled in her surrounding. The blinds were now covering the walls and Lauren couldn't help but smile. Today was the day that she was going to speak out about what actually happened in hopes to clear Y/N's name, along with the Ryfords, despite the chances being thin. Of course, people would still talk about them. She took a quick shower and headed downstairs, padding towards the kitchen to find Y/N behind the stove. Lauren's cheeks burned when she saw her wearing nothing but an apron, making her sexier than she already was with her smooth ass cheeks staring back at the green-eyed girl invitingly.
Y/N, feeling her presence, turned around and smirked smugly at her. "I look good, right?" She went back to the stove to turn it off, lifting the pan and pouring the last piece of pancake on the plate. "I should start wearing this at school—if we're still going back to school."
Taking note of the look on Lauren's face, she served the pancakes on the table herself, producing everything before beckoning the Cuban to eat.
"It's like you've never seen my ass before," Y/N said as Lauren sat down in front of her, giggling. "What? They look good, don't they?"
"I think pancakes are more appetizing than your ass," Lauren said playfully, watching as Y/N poured syrup over her food.
"I would've prepared something more special to show you that I'm a great cook as you but why do that when I can serve myself to you? This is a full course meal here, honey," the billionaire said, winking at her.
"What time's the interview going to happen?" Lauren asked as she pointed at Y/N's choice of outfit. "You're confident enough to have the entire world see that?"
Y/N wanted to nod but she laughed instead. "Are you going to let me? Dress like this in TV?"
Lauren bit her lip as she thought of it. "Maybe. I mean, I'm pretty sure that your body's not exclusive for me. Girls before me have seen all of you."
"First of all, not all of me. If we're talking about physical characteristics, then, yes. They've seen it—everything. But if we'll include my personality, I can assure you that you're the first one to see all of me," Y/N argued, slicing her pancake into half. "And those are the girls before you. I think I've grown an inch and a half or so now." She hummed in consideration. "Yeah, I think so. I'd be nude in front of the camera if I want to but it's debatable if you're against it."
Lauren smiled, shoving a piece of pancake in her mouth before consuming it leisurely just to spare herself from being excited and to make Y/N think a bit. "Is this you insinuating that you'll do everything I say?"
"Not everything," Y/N said in all honesty. "I'm stupid at times and I make stupid decisions. This is me informing you that you could be someone who can keep me from making a fool out of myself."
"I think you can determine if you're doing something stupid or not if you're aware that you can be stupid at times." As soon as Lauren said this, Y/N laughed loudly. It wasn't the laugh because of something funny but rather because Y/N found her amusing.
"You're too smart," Y/N said. "You're making me feel like I'm not only stupid momentarily but all the time."
"You can leave me with my mom if you want."
Y/N held her gaze for a moment, then she smiled and shook her head. "Why would I leave someone who's supposed to keep me from doing stupid things? I think I'd die without you."
They finished breakfast and Y/N figured Lauren didn't like sharing that much so she trudged upstairs and took a bath. When she got out, Lauren was staring at various clothes on the bed. Y/N ran her hand through her blown-dry hair as she was clad in a sports bra and a towel around her waist, standing beside the green-eyed girl.
