The letter was sent to Gray this morning. Erza was so kind to take it to the messenger who was leaving as early as 4. I gave her my thanks. But I haven't seen her since. I'm kind of worried about her now. I've been up all night. I haven't been able to sleep. I've just been thinking. I'm honestly scared. Sir Natsu called a meeting this morning at 10 am. It's seven now.

I'm supposed to go down to breakfast in about thirty minutes.

Just what am I supposed to say. I know no matter what, I'm still going to fight against Gray. I just don't want anything bad to happen to either side of this war. But some things just can't be helped, I guess.

I made my way towards the dining area. My parents weren't at the table. So it wouldn't be awkward at least. Once I finished my food I made my way to the the meeting room early.

Once I entered the meeting room I noticed Sir Natsu crossing things out on a piece of paper. He's probably getting everything ready for the meeting ready now.

"Hey Lucy," Sir Natsu said.

"Hey..." I mumbled.

"I heard what happened," he claimed.

"Well, it's not really your business," I said.

"I heard you denied his offer. You really are a smart girl," he said as he walked closer to me.

"What do you want Natsu?" I questioned.

"I want you to except his offer. I wouldn't want something like what happened to Laxus and Gajeel to happen again," he confessed.

"Even if we don't have the war lives are still at risk. And it's your fault for not being able to save Laxus and Gajeel," I explained.

"You see, you're wrong there," Natsu said as he slammed me into the wall. "They didn't want my help. They thought they could take one of Gray's toughest soldiers without help from even each other. That is why they died the way they did," Natsu claimed.

"I don't believe you," I mumbled.

"Well, if they did they would of still been here today. Ranking in the knights was different than it was back than Lucy. That's what you need to understand," Natsu yelled.

He finally let me go. And by the time I took a seat. Everyone started to come in for the meeting. Once everyone was settled and paying attention to Natsu he started. Everyone except me of course. "The war is continuing. And we are ordered by Queen Layla to strike the first attack tomorrow. We are leaving first thing tonight at eight," he demanded.

Everyone was shocked. I was too. We were going straight into war. And we were the first ones attacking. But my mind was still on the conversation Natsu and I had earlier.
