I went to my new room that came with my title. I'm supposed to be getting ready for the royal ball tonight to celebrate the new queen. Which is me. But honestly I don't want to go. And seeing Gray in the crowd made me sad. I'm not gonna be able to see him anymore I don't think. My mom is going to force me into doing marriage meetings. Since she still hates Gray and his people. But there's nothing I can really do about it. And that really makes me upset.
Mira came in and helped me with my dress. I'm all ready. But hearing something crash in my closet stopped me from leaving. I turned around and started walking towards it. I opened it and I see Gray on the ground with one of my boxes of clothes.
I start laughing at him quietly so he couldn't hear. Then I helped him up. I was trying to pull him up so hard we slammed bodies. And that's when my heart started to slam against my ribcage.
But suddenly I hear Mira calling my name,"Lucy!!"
I quickly turn off the light and drag Gray and I into the closet. She turns on the lights and notices I'm not here. I feel Gray's hands around my waist. And I swoon. Mira shuts off the lights and makes a comment about where I went and runs off. Gray pulls me close to him. He stares at my lips and leans in. As soon as our lips touched we start to passionately kiss each other. It was a little hot in the closet, okay?
We finally pull apart after a good couple of minutes.
"Gray why are you here?" I ask him.
"I wanted to see you," he answers.
"After today I'm gonna be able to see you for who knows how long," I tell him.
"Then we just have to make this night memorable... meet me here at twelve tonight," he requests.
"Okay," I say as I slip through his grasp and head for the ball.
