I got everything I needed for the Knights stay at the Knights house. Something wasn't right about it though. Why would all our knights go to the Knights house? Shouldn't some stay at the kingdom??

I went to the stable and untied my horse from the wooden gate. I rode my horse to the gates where Natsu was waiting for me. Since I had to be an hour earlier then all the other Knights. But I did have something to discuss with Natsu anyway. Once I saw him he looked surprised that I actually came early then I usually would.

"Lucy. I'm surprised you came," he spoke.

I held my arm up. I had something serious to ask him.

"Natsu. I don't think it's a good idea to make all the Knights leave the Castle. Some should stay. At least I should stay," I requested.

"You have a point. It would be silly to have no Knights if the Roe Kingdom attacked. So I'll let you stay," he said.

My face must of had a shocked face.

"Well close your mouth. We wouldn't want you to catch flies now would we?" He joked.

"Thank you Sir," I said.

He nodded.

"Now go do your duty. I'm ordering you and only you to watch this kingdom tonight!" Natsu explained.

"Yes Sir!" I yelled.

"But you don't have to go inside the kingdom until all the knights come out. You can just re-"

"Relax! You want me to relax?!" I yelled.

"Lucy-"

"I'm not going to relax until we win this war! I don't want anymore of the people I care about to die like Gajeel and Laxus!" I screamed.

"Sorry I said anything," he mumbled.

"No I'm sorry. I shouldn't of lashed out at you," I mumbled.

I was just worried I would lose someone else. I'm close to losing my father. But he was never that good to me anyway. But I still love him no matter what he put me through. We sat on our horses for the next forty-five minutes looking at the beautiful sky and the way the kingdom shines because of the sunlight until the rest of the Knights came. Once they all finally met up with Natsu I rode my horse back to the stable. Once I tied my horse to the wooden gate I went back into the castle and guarded it.

It was so quiet.

It sounded exactly like before a war begins. But I knew what was coming. The Roe Kingdom would attack the castle tonight wouldn't they? I had a bad feeling about this.

I kept walking around the empty cobblestone filled halls. Nothing. I heard absolutely nothing. And it was honestly starting to scare me. Usually the kingdom would be filled with sounds of laughter, sounds of knights marching, sounds of footsteps. But there was nothing. The castle felt dead.

Suddenly, I heard a scream.

"Help!" She cried.

I ran in the screams direction but I didn't see anything because it was absolutely quiet again. And the women who screamed was there in front of me with a sword through her brain. And there she was dead.

I quickly took my sword out and looked behind me but I was too late. There was already a cloth on my mouth. And I knew I would be knocked out because of the drug in seconds.
