It had been several weeks since the ordeal happened and Fae wasn't taking it well. She had locked herself in a spare bedroom and wouldn't let anyone in. I could hear her soft cries coming from inside and the pain through the bond was strong. I didn't think that she knew it, but the entire wolf world seemed glum. No one truly realized how much the Moon Goddess affected all of us. The world seemed dark and cold, no longer springing with the light it once had. The sun hadn't peeked out in so long...I was beginning to wonder if there was one at all.

I usually just passed by the room, thinking that she would come out on her own, but I was getting restless without my Mate near. I knocked on the door and, as usual, she didn't answer, but I came prepared. What she didn't know was I had keys to this room, so I could open it whenever I wanted, but I thought it best to give her privacy...until now, that is. I took it out and unlocked the door and quickly closed it behind me, but I was shocked to see her floating above the middle of the bed with her eyes closed.

"Love?"

"I'm surprised it took you this long to use that key," she said, not opening her eyes.

Busted. "H-How..."

"I'm the Moon Goddess, Lucian, I know everything."

"Yes, but before you were the Moon Goddess you were my Mate and I can't sleep or do anything productively with you in here like this." She sighed. "Do you know what the pack has been like? It's been in mourning for the past-"

"I understand." She descended down and opened her eyes and I gasped.

"Fae...what happened to your eyes?"

"They're just like they were before I became the Moon Goddess. A beautiful flaw never hurt anyone."

"I guess not." But she had no idea how I actually felt about it. I wanted to wake up and us gaze into each other's eyes in the morning, but she was blind again and still couldn't see me. She would never see me.

"So what are you making me for breakfast?"

I chuckled. "What am I making you for breakfast?"

"Mhm."

"I wasn't aware I was supposed to be making you breakfast."

"Do you want me to command?"

"No, but I will say you'll have to wait."

She crossed her arms. "And why is that?"

I walked towards her and my voice became husky, thinking of what was to come. "My wolf and I haven't been with our Mate in a while and we would like to show her our affections right now. Do you think the Moon Goddess could wait 45 minutes?"

She smirked and brought one corner of her bottom lip into her sexy mouth, biting it. "I say she could wait about three hours." She jumped and wrapped her self around my waist, kissing up my neck.

I growled and pulled her closer to me, my tongue dancing with her's in a fight for dominance that she let me win. She was respecting my position as Alpha and that somehow turned me on even more. When she pulled back I was about to question as to what was wrong, but then I saw her eyes turn violet and she looked at me.

"I want to see you for this," she whispered, her hands on my cheeks. "I want to know what you look like when you cum inside me."

I wasted no time in gripping her nightgown in my hands and ripping it straight from her body, causing her to gasp in surprise. I threw it to the floor and immediately took one of her rose bud nipples into my mouth. "Oh, Luc!" I tasted her soft skin and popped it out of my mouth before giving the other the same affection. She writhed and moaned under my mouth and I couldn't wait to see her react to my other praises. I laid her on the bed and unbuttoned my shirt agonizingly slow. "I intend to do more than just f*ck you, my goddess of seduction, I also intend to worship that glorious body." Her breathing began to quicken as soon as I said that and I smirked, unbuckling my belt and stripping it off. In a flash, she was up and tugging at my pants.

"Get them off!" She ripped them, as well as my underwear, off my body and pulled me to her. "I'm sick of your games, Alpha Lucian."

"Already?" I teased, licking up her jawline. "But we've only just begun..."

"What for?"

"That was three and a half hours." She giggled and I felt the weight on my chest disappear.

"I think the Moon Goddess will forgive you."

"Ya think so?"

"She'd understand how long it's been since you've been with your Mate." I kissed her forehead and pulled her close to me.

"On a serious note, Fae, none of what happened is your fault. You can be my Mate and the Moon Goddess; you don't have to choose between the world or me."

"I know."

"Just making sure." I kissed her cheek and snuggled up to her. Being with her was Heaven.
