Blessing you with our lovely Fae's P.O.V
Chapter Four
Fae
He kissed me...on the lips...and I liked it. I actually liked it a lot. I touched my lips and looked down. I kissed him! Oh no, I kissed him! "Excuse me," I whispered, running out of his office. I had to stop falling in love with him! I couldn't trust him...I can't trust him! I ran into the kitchen and leaded against the counter, sighing.
"Hello, Fae," a woman's voice said to my right. I turned and instead of seeing a red, orange or blue figure(Lucian was blue) I saw a white one. I got into a defensive stance.
"Who are you and how do you know my name?"
"My name is Juniper and I'm Lucian's mother, but I am also the Moon Goddess."
I stood there in shock. "You're the voice," I whispered.
{Flashback}
"Come on, sl*t, I know you like it!" I grimaced as Rex pounded into me. He was angry that was for sure, but I had done nothing! I whimpered and he drove into me harder and faster. This was absolute torture. "Damn, so tight!"
Just hold on, Fae. A voice in my head told me.
He climaxed and threw me on the floor, falling on top of me. "Oh, baby, you're fantastic," he whispered, kissing me. He pulled back and slapped my face for not returning his affections and kept doing so until I did. A bell sounded and he groaned. "That's my shift, but don't worry it's only for a few hours. I'll send a few boys to keep you company." He kissed me again and smiled when I returned it. As soon as he was out of sight I threw up in the corner, coughing.
I had felt like doing that for the entire time and ever since I woke up. What was wrong with me? It has been going on for the past week and I have no idea if I'm sick or just completely disgusted with every rouge here.
It'll be okay, the voice said, You're strong.
{End of Flashback}
Little did I know then that I was with that monster's child, but even though that was the truth I never wanted what happened to come to pass. I would not wish that suffering on anyone...I was only 15 and I was in that predicament. I turned my attention to the Moon Goddess.
"Why didn't you save me?"
"I sent Lucian to you, did I not?"
"I meant before I was capture by those filthy animals! You're supposed to know and see all! You could've saved me and my virtue!"
"I do know and see all, but I cannot interfere with your destiny."
"I was destined to have my virtue ripped from my body on my thirteenth birthday?! I was destined to be pregnant with a child that wasn't my Mate's?! I was destined to be a weak, blind runt?!"
"You are not a weak runt, Fae. You are one of the strongest of my children."
"But I am blind!"
"So?! You think I haven't seen you the past few weeks you've been here?! You haven't let your blindness get the best of you, in fact you never have! You never thought that if you could see rex wouldn't rape you and I will tell you this, if you did have your sight," she paused and took in a breath. "He would have used you more than he did." There was silence between us and I felt tears stream down my face. "I know every single thing you've endured and it has hurt me more than you think. I had to watch while they beat and raped you, knowing I couldn't do anything because I would alter your future with Lucian. Fae, if I intervened at any point in your life you would've never met him," her voice cracked and I knew that she must've been crying.
"Hey, mom have you seen-" Lucian's voice abruptly stopped when he saw us, two women crying in the kitchen. "Fae. What's going on? Are you alright?" His concern was touching.
Open up to him, Fae, he loves you more than anyone and anything in this world. Would you like me to show you?
I frowned and all of the sudden it felt like I was floating...and then being shot out of a canon. I closed my eyes until I was still again, opening them. I was greeted with various colors I didn't even know existed. I could see! The colors melted into an image of, what I assumed was an office. I sniffed and confirmed it was Lucian's, it had his scent all over it. I looked around at the bland room and gasped when the door was ripped open by a tall man in a suit. His black hair was swept to one side, his facial hair was neatly kept, his brown eyes held sorrow and I wanted nothing, but to comfort this man that I didn't know, but there was something familiar about him.
I came close to him, seeing as how he didn't know I was even there. I reached out to touch him, but my hand went straight threw his face. This is an allusion, Fae, he can neither see nor hear you, Juniper's voice said from around me. "Who is this?" I asked her. Watch. I looked back at the familiar man and my eyes widened in realization as to who the man was. "Lucian," I whispered. This was my Mate. Damn, he was gorgeous!
A knock sounded at the door and he stood, walking away from it instead of answering. "You're the Moon Goddess, you don't need to knock on a simple door," He spat. Juniper walked through the door, literally, and put a hand on her son's back.
"I know it's hard, son, but-"
He whipped around and I could see the tears that were staining his perfect cheeks. "Why can't you just tell me where she is?!"
"You know I can't do that," she whispered.
"Where is she, Momma? Does she live?"
"She lives."
"Tell me about her," he pleaded, more tears falling.
"She is small and she is strong."
Lucian sniffed and wiped his face. "Does she want me?"
"She will."
"Does she want me now?"
"She doesn't even believe you exist, son."
He paused. "I'll show her."
"Hm?"
"I'll show her I exist. When I meet her, I'm going to be the best Mate on the planet. I love her and I've never even met her!"
I was then pulled back to my reality, darkness. I knew what my Mate looked like now and I wouldn't take that for granted...ever. "Do you see now?" Juniper asked.
I felt tears flow down from my eyes and Lucian became frantic. "Fae, are you okay? Oh, stop crying, baby...oh, Goddess, please what can I do? Are you hurting?"
"Lucian," I whispered as he wiped my tears away with his thumb.
"What is it, baby? I'm here for you."
"I know...and I'm so sorry."
"Sorry for what? You haven't done anything."
"I've been distant and I gave up hope for you."
"That isn't your fault."
"It is and I'm sorry."
"Fae, it's alright," he said, kissing my forehead.
I smiled and leaning in to his touch. This was my Mate and I was his.
