My First & Last

Rose "pov''

I heard my alarm beep at 7 sharp in the morning, Surprisingly I woke up without much struggle I guess it's because of the first day excitement, or maybe it's because I couldn't sleep the whole night having nightmares about me waking up late and losing my job in my first day

I took a hot bath and brushed my teeth and I dried my shoulder length brown hair

I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around me, I got dressed in my black skirt that hugged my curves not in a slutty way it was almost knee length, and white blouse that I left on the bed before showering, I matched it with my black mid heel and my dark blue shoulder bag, i left my hair down, I put on some pink lipstick and mascara only am not that huge fan of makeup, I looked at myself in the mirror seeing a really confident girl, When I was about to leave I remembered my Necklace, I took it off before entering the shower

It was a silver heart shaped Necklace, There's writing on it saying "My first&last"  It was a gift from a friend named jack when I was in fourth grade,Well not just a friend he was my first love and a childhood friend, He was four years older than me, I've known him since the day I was born until fourth grade, His parents were my parent's friends since college

Flash back

I was walking in school when I saw jack's driver standing beside him at the school entrance door and then when he saw me he came walking towards me showing me his perfect lips curving into the perfect smile showing his gorgeous deep dimples and the perfect line set of white teeth

"Hey jacky" I say shyly looking down to my childhood friend and first love jack

"hey little Rosie" jack said kissing my cheek, i still get Goosebumps in my stomach whenever I hear him call me that

"you want to come play at mine today" I asked him with a blushing face, am still getting nervous around him even though I knew him long enough not to, i mean i opened my eyes and he was there since then.

"I can't today my parents said that we are going to grandpas" he said with sad green eyes, his mouth curving into a sad smile

"well am going to miss you" I tell him with a sad tone looking into his eyes, I could stay the whole day with him and still miss him

"hmm I brought you something" he said with blushed cheeks still his gaze never left mine

"really " I asked really happy not because he bought me something, it's only because the idea of him thinking of me made me crazily happy .....

"Yeah turn around and close your eyes Rosie" he asked me and I did as he told me and I felt his warm hands against my flesh skin placing something on my neck when I heard him say open your eyes I turned around to face him

"So what do you think ?" he asked really nervous looking deep into my hazel eyes waiting for my reaction

I looked down at the necklace he had put on me I couldn't have loved it more than I did, and I saw the words written on it "my first&last" and I was surprised, those words meant the world to me

"It's so beautiful thank you I love it" I say to him shyly holding the heart shaped necklace with watery eyes

"Don't cry Rosie, now I'll be with you wherever you go" he said while leaning to me, I felt my heart beating fast I couldn't believe what's happening and then it happened he kissed me, Well it was for two seconds maybe but it was my first kiss, and it was with him
