chapter 5

Rose "Pov"

I just woke up it's seven thirty in the morning I've been fighting to wake up for half an hour this is torture, yesterday was really tiring I arrived home at nine and went straight to sleep

after taking a hot bath and doing the usual, I got dressed in a simple knee black dress with dark red mid heels and bag, I looked hot yet professional, I went downstairs to find Tina making some coffee

"morning Tina" I say kissing her cheek "morning to you too honey, how was your first day?" she asked while pouring some coffee in her cup 
"it was fine, everyone is so nice" I say to her, am not going to say anything that would make her worry more about me
"good to hear sweetie" she said smiling not before taking a sip from her coffee
I drank a cup of orange juice in hurry "sorry Tina am running late, oh this is killing me already" I say to her showing her my sleepy eyes like a puppy
"you will get used to this rose, it's not that bad" she says chuckling at me, everyone knows my sleeping issues, I smiled at her comment and with that i went straight to my car 

I just arrived to the company building and was walking straight to the elevator when I saw the elevator door closed
"god I missed it" I whisper to myself, I looked to my left and saw another elevator in the corner, I walked fast almost ran towards it and saw Mr.Robbins standing in front of it
"Mr.Robbins" I said loud enough for him only to hear me, but what he did shocked me, he just looked at me from the corner of his cold eyes and went in the elevator and closed the door while I was standing in front of it staring at me with cold expression on his face
did he just ignore me! Just when I thought he's not that bad he's back to the same old arrogant jerk, I guess somethings never change
some guy who was standing in front of the elevator said to me "sorry ms this elevator is for the manger's only" 

"okay.." i tried my best not shout at him, i mean it's not his fault  "urgh.." I sigh hoping for this day to end peacefully

It's almost five and I didn't see Mr. Robbins since this morning, i wonder what is he doing right now, god rose hold it together why am I thinking of him, I won't let his devil charm work on me, I won't be like the other girls in here, I won't let him affect me

"Rose. Rose" I hear James voice calling me, I had lunch with him and Julie earlier today and he told me a lot about himself, he is three years older than me, and was in long term relation until his old girlfriend who ditched him for some spoiled rich brat, his family got a company named va&lu it's really known in newYork ,It's one of the companies I alibied in ,but he didn't want to work there, he wanted to depend on his own and see where that leads him, maybe one day on the future he will take over his parents company but not now, I like that about him, he didn't want to be like the others and take the short cut, he wanted to make his own way, we had that in commonm and it's nice to meet someone who understands you

"sorry I didn't hear you" I say looking over my shoulder smiling, he looked at me with worry
"am sorry rose but I need you to do something" he said with apologetic tone
whatever he was going to say he knew am not going to like it, I turned my chair now facing him and nodded my head
"I need you to take these files to Mr.Robbins right now he doesn't like to wait" he said with sorry tone
"it's okay James I work here, there's a few things I have to do even if I don't like to" I reply I don't want him to feel bad about sending me to the lion cage, besides I work here so I can't complain, it's my job and am sure if he did have another option he wouldn't ask me to do it

"oh good I was so worried about sending you, thought you would make another argument with him that would make you lose your job, but now I could tell you won't, you seem calm, okay then see you tomorrow rose" he said with a relived smile and walked away
