Rose "pov''

I pressed the elevator button and stood there waiting for the door to open, it felt like an hour before I heard the sound of the elevator and the door slide open, I was so mad and angry but all I have to do is to avoid him as much as I can and I work in 30th floor so I don't think it would be that hard, i guess.... !! i hope so !!
but I can't seem to forget his eyes,Those dark cold green eyes of his, I feel like I saw them before, but I just can't remember where?
And that's when it hit me, is he jack? my first love jack? but no there is no way !! I mean okay their eyes are the same green and they got the same first name but their last name is different, the jack I know is jack Collins and unlike him my jack is the most sweet caring boy, and his eyes held only softness and caring .... kindness, and this one has the personality of satin
Besides it's impossible I haven't heard from him in ages and if it was him then maybe if he recognized me, i guess he would have said something right!?
I was so lost in my thoughts when I noticed the elevator door was about to shut close and that's when I kicked my foot in to make the door stay open, i just hope no one saw that, Once am in I pressed the 30th floor button
After about 3 minutes with people coming in and out, the elevator stopped at my floor and I walked out of it, thank god
when I stepped out of the elevator I took a look at the place I will  be working in for the next months hopefully years, the place is huge and there is about 10 desks in here and one office with a glass door in the back which I assume it's the head of department's, the walls are white with shining marble beige floor, In the left corner there is a door which I knew it's the restroom
I didn't know where my desk is, so I just asked one of the ladies who was sitting on her desk typing something on her computer chewing gum
"hello" I say with polite friendly tone she also looks like a fake Barbie but am not going to judge a book by its cover, maybe I could be friends with her
"sorry busy" she replied with bored tone chewing the gum, not even giving me a look
Okay definitely not friends, what is wrong with her! I only said hello what a bitch!! that's when I heard a woman calls my name from behind me, I turned around to face her, she held a stern expression

"ms Lawrence?" the lady asks with a stern voice, i knew am going to have a really hard time working with her and I defiantly knew she was the one who spoke to me on the phone yesterday saying I got the job
She was taller than me maybe 5,9 she was wearing knee grey skirt with matching grey jacket and a black flat shoe, her black hair was held in a bun style, she got beautiful brown eyes  behind those huge thick medical glasses, she looked professional and a little scary to say the truth
"yes rose Lawrence I just g..." I was interrupted by her "MS Lawrence it's your first day and you are already five minutes late" the lady said looking at her watch I mean come on it's only five minutes .... besides it's not my fault
"am sorry something happened i..." I was interrupted again "make sure that doesn't happen again or don't bother coming" she said with the same stern voice, looking straight into my eyes like she is daring me to say something.
Oh god I think I just got a job in hell, it seems working here won't be easy as I thought it would

"yes I will" I reply trying to sound confident and in control which I wasn't ....
"am Leila the vice manger of the accountant department and you will be working under Mr.James king you will be under his observation for two weeks and you can go to him if you need anything, his desk is right next to yours, and I assume you would want to know the rules for the employees in this company .... No being late, no dating with another employee, Work starts at 9 and ends at 5, lunch break is at 1" she said that without even taking a breath and walks away not giving me a chance to ask anything
I only heard the part about mr.James and lunch break I guess I have to find out the rest by myself then

Once I found my desk and took a seat I was greeted by a girl from her looks you would say she is like the rest fake Barbie's I saw in here
"hello my name is Julie, nice to meet you" she said with a friendly smile on her face, finally I think I found someone to talk to, she was as tall as I am, tanned skin and light brown hair and green eyes, she got the right curves in the right places, She looked perfect
"hello am rose, nice to meet you too" I reply also with a friendly smile
"well since you are new here am going to give you some advises" she said sitting on my desk and I nod, I think I will definitely need those advises if I want to survive in this jungle
"well .... first I heard Leila says that you will be working under Mr. James so don't worry he is a really nice man" she gives me assurance smile, Oh I hope she's right, last thing I need right now is another devil to work under
I nod my head at her waiting for her to continue
