The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter III

I LOOK AT THE BATTLE FIELD BEFORE ME and see that the Resistance is winning. I sense something near me and I look to see Poe's fighter hovering next to mine. He looks at me relived but mad. It looks as if he is talking and then I realize my radio is off so I turn it on. I am met with the yelling of Poe about how worried he was and how brave I am too. I tell him

"I told you there was nothing to worry about. We still have a battle going down there so we should probably get back."
When we enter the battle it is almost over and we just shoot some storm troopers to help the Rebels on the ground. When the attack is over the Resistance cheers with pride and we make our way back to our base in victory. Once I land my plane I step out and my whole X-wing group is there telling how amazing I was and how they wish they were me. I humbly say,
"I wasn't the only one out there fighting I was just doing my job." I ask politely if I can move past everyone and I make my way through the crowd. Once I step out of the crowd a wave off nausea hits me and I become very dizzy. I begin to fall and someone catches me. I look up and I see Poe.
"Woah there Roe are you okay." He looks at my concerned. I nod knowing I am lying and I try to stand up but my head pounds causing me to once again fall into Poe's arms. " Lets take you to the med wing. I allow him to pick me up wedding style as I rap my arms around is neck trying to fight through the pain in my head. On the way to the med wing I pass out. I begin to dream...

I am in a beautiful field with all of my friends. I quickly recognize the field is one of the many spots that the Resistance gathers to have a party after a victory. I am having so much fun and Poe is right next to me. We dance and laugh when all of a sudden everything stops and my friends begin to fall to the ground choking. Darkness falls over the once happy bright field. I turn to Poe to see him struggling to breath. I begin to cry scared not knowing what is happing as Poe try's to say something to me but the light from his eyes grow dim and he dies in my arms. My vision goes blurry due to the tears as I look into the dead eyes of my best friend, and maybe we where something more but I would never know. I see a reflection in Poe's eyes, I wipe my eyes and see a red glow in his eyes. I am confused on what I am seeing when I feel someone behind me I turn around slowly to see a creature dress in black. I jump up backing away slowly. The creature advances and that is when I find what the red glow in Poe's eyes was. It was the tint of a red lightsaber and then I instantly know who it is. I look up to the creature's face and see a mask and I gasp with fear whispering, "Kylo Ren."

I wake up shaking and drench in sweat I jolt out of my bed and cry out "No please!" I begin to cry as I feel arms around me. I snuggle my head on the persons shoulder as they comb through my hair. I cry on the shoulder of a fellow Resistance member and I dont know who it is until I hear
" Shh it's okay it was only a nightmare you are safe now."
I cry out in joy say, " Poe it's you your not dead!" Poe let's go of me stepping back raise his arms and says,
"Yup is me Poe in the flesh." I sniffle and laugh reaching up again for Poe to hug me still not believe it is really him.
"I feel like a damsel in distressed I must look so weak. " I say into his shoulder.
He push me away from him gentle looking at me and says, "You look stronger then ever." I smile and then he picks me up and brings me to my room.
I still can't shake the feeling of the dream I had and puzzle over what it means when I reach my room. Poe gently sets me down on my bed and I thank him. As he exits and turns around and says, "You really sacred out there today. On the battle field and in base. Please don't do that to me again." I smile sweetly and say,
"I won't". He leaves my room only to quickly come in and say
"Oh I almost forgot General Legia wanted to talk to you when you were ready." I laugh at how he forgot to say something so important to me. I thank him and he leaves. I puzzle over why the General would want to see me. Maybe I did something wrong today hopefully I wasn't getting in trouble.

Why does the General want to see her? But more importantly what does her dream mean?
