The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter XXXV

I KNOW SOMETHING HAS CHANGED with in me because I don't feel anything anymore. I have become numb to the world. All I am is emptiness but yet full of anger, pain, fear, aggression, and hatred. Supreme Leader Snoke has unlocked a part of me that has been begging to be brought out. I can feel the power of the dark side as it coarse through my veins. Snoke has helped me realize where all my pain has been coming from and now I plan to destroy it.
    The Resistance is my next target. I have to destroy them before they destroy the one thing I only care about now. Kylo. I don't know why I didn't see the threat before. The Resistance was always there. They knew how much power I possessed and so by killing my parents and capturing me they manipulated me into thinking they were right. They took everything from me and now I plan to make sure my dream about Kylo's death doesn't come true.

     I stride down the hallways towards the med wing. I had a helmet, similar to Kylo's, made for me so that when I pass people they coward in fear. I smirk as the new found confidence emerges through me.
    Today is my first day out of the dark training room since I had embraced the dark side. Snoke has been training me for a week. When he said that I may now go and use the information he has taught me I was so happy because that meant I could visit Kylo again.
    I had been craving his presence and every day felt like I was losing a part of me because my other half wasn't near. I was so excited that I didn't notice the change in atmosphere. I put my hand on Kylo's door and I was about to slide it open when suddenly I hear my name.
    "Roe? Is that you?"
   I turn around to face a person I can barely make out through the mechanical eye sockets in my helmet.
   "Hello Nina." My voice sounds as emotionless through my mask as it would if it was my real voice. Through my training all the bonds I have made disappeared and now I don't care about anyone but Kylo.
     "How are you? I haven't seen you in forever and what's with the mask. It's kinda freaky." Nina asks warily now unsure of my intentions.
    I ignore her comments as I go on to say, "How is Kylo?"
    "Uhh he is doing well. I fact he has made a huge recovery. His wounds are finally healing and he finally woke up two days ago!" She chirps.
   I grow a very annoyed  with her too happy voice and too bright of smile, "You mean Kylo woke up and you didn't tell me!" My voice raises as Nina begins to shrink.
   "Well Roe you see you sort of disappeared and I didn't know where to find you."
    "Well maybe you should have look harder. What if Kylo was dying or worse what if he had died. Would you have look as hard as you did when you supposably looked for me to tell me Kylo was awake?!"  I loom over her as she cowers in fear.
   "I.... uh..." I cut her off annoyed as I throw a glare that causes her to drop her clip board. She reaches for her throat as she struggles to breath.
  "I...can't.. breath.... please Roe... stop this... I thought... were where... friends..."
   "Well I am sorry to say this but friendships never last. Especially for and orphan like you." I spat at her as I smile when I know I struck a chord with in her. I begin to grow bored and I turn back towards the door. At the same time Nina flys to the wall hitting it hard. A pool of blood forms around her as she lays there motionless. I leave her bloody body with no remorse and not even caring if I inflicted pain on the closest person to a sister to me.
    I slide open the door bracing for what I see next. I see Kylo sleeping soundly.  As I near I can see the rosy color of his cheeks as I smile knowing the life has come back in him. His cut across his face has healed and his bandages are off. I stare longingly at his face thinking it look more hansom then ever.
    My heart leaps as I see his eyes flutter open. When his eyes lock on me he jumps back scooting across his bed in fear. He try's to run away as he holds out a hand in a wimpy attempt to hold me off. But I know I wouldn't hurt him. I am a little hurt myself that he reacts in this way and I am confused. Then I remember I still have my helmet on so I move my hands to my mask and press a button. The mask hisses off as I shake my hair letting it fall down my shoulders.
    I see Kylo's face soften as he say.
  "Oh my stars, Roe it's you!" He runs up to my and squeezes me. I become annoyed a tiny bit but the feeling of being in Kylo's strong arms again makes me forget about everything. He buries his face in my neck as I voice is muffled, "wow I didn't recognize you in that helmet. Where have you been. I was so worried you had died."
   I smiled of course he would say that. "Kylo I would never leave you. You are my other half and nothing could separate us."
    He holds me at arms length away as he stares at me. "You are more beautiful then I remembered. You haven't answered where you have been. I woke up about two days ago."
   I blush at his first comment but then anger wells with me. "I have been with Supreme Leader Snoke. And I would have come earlier but that stupid nurse didn't tell me you woke up. But no need to worry I took care of her."
    And expression of worry crosses Kylo's face as his lips form a straight line. "Roe what do you mean you have been with Snoke."
I smile as pride fill me. "I have devoted myself to the dark side and Snoke has been teaching me. I have grown so strong Kylo you would be very proud of me." I puff my chest out a little as I smirk.
   "Roe haven't I told you Snoke is dangerous. If only I was there I could have stopped him from seducing you."
   "What do you mean? I made the decision myself. I like the dark side and how it's power makes me feel!" I huff in disappointment because I though Kylo would understand.
     He looks at me with pity as he pulls me in for another hug. I welcome it as he rests his chin on the top of my head.
    "What temptations has that devil implanted into my little shooting star's beautiful mind?" He whispers.

Kylo is awake!!! I am so happy. I really don't know what to say to you guys. All I can't say is thank you so much for all the support! Your encouraging words really push me!
