The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter IV

I DECIDED TO TAKE A SHOWER and try to wash off all the things that happened today but most importantly the dream. I am still confused by what it means.

By the time I get out an hour has past. I hurry and throw on some clothes that looked similar to the ones I had on and braid my hair into a ring around my head to look presentable. I then walk out of my room and make my way to the control room where I know General Leia will be.
When I reach the control room I stand near the door waiting for permission to walk in. I spot General Leia and wait patiently. She finally looks up and spots me. "Permission to aboard control room?" I ask
"Permission granted", General Leia said, "here, child follow me." She waves me into a private room that I had never been in. She tells me to take a seat and she sits across from me.
"General Leia I would like to say first that if I did anything wrong I am sorry and it won't happen again.." I start to explain to General Leia but she cuts me off.
"First of all please just call me Leia and second of all you are not in trouble. I just wanted to talk to you." I let out a deep sigh and I hadn't realized that I was holding my breath.
"Well General... erg I mean Leia what did you want to talk about?"
"The Resistance was quite impressed with your flying today at the attack", Leia says i smile with pride, "but as I hear more in detail of how risky and how if any other pilot did it they probably would have died."
"Well Leia I wouldn't say to much about it all everyone needs is a little practice." I respond
"Yes Roe I do suppose but this practice takes many years and you are only 20 years old hardly enough to reach that level."
"What are you saying?"
"Well what I am proposing is that you may contain something very special inside of you that many do not posse."
"Like what?"
" Well dear I think you may contain the Force."
" The Force?! What in the galaxy is that!" I stand up with out knowing it and raising my voice without meaning it too.
"Calm down my child. The Force isn't anything to fear. In fact it helps guide you and make you better. In time if you master it you can do great things."
"I can't contain this so called Force. I am an orphaned from a destroyed planet, I am nothing special. I don't I can't believe you I am sorry Leia... General Leia but I have to leave. May I go?"
"Yes Roe, but remember this even if you do or not contain that Force there will be tests from the dark and light side. Just stay with what your heart says and the path will be clear."
I bow to General Leia and swiftly leave the room heading to my dorm.
I keep my head down mumbling and processing what I had just heard when I bump into someone. I quickly say sorry and begin to walk past them. As I walk I hear foot steps behind me. I take a quick glance over my shoulder and see no other then Poe. I stop "Oh hey didn't see you there."
He chuckles, "By the looks of it you didn't see anything when you bumped into me back there."
"Oh that was you, sorry just have a million things to process right now." I start to walk to my room again not really feeling in the mood to talk.
   "Hey Roe wait up", Poe said jogging after me, "what's wrong?"
    "Nothing I am fine." I mutter quickly still walking and keeping my head down.
    "Stop lying I know there is something wrong." Poe grabs my arm and turns me around to face him.
     I stare at him and I just get really mad. All the confusion on the dream and finding out I might have some special Force power thing just builds up and I yell at Poe, "I SAID I AM FINE!" And without meaning to I thrust out my hand and Poe is sent flying back and hits the floor. He didn't travel very far or get hurt but I start shaking. I raise my hand and look at it trebling in fear. I feel hot tears falling down my cheeks. I look up to see Poe staring at me and trying to get up, he starts to walk towards me. "No," I say still trebling, "stay away. I don't want to hurt you." I lower my head and cower in my own presence.
   "Roe...", he try's to take a step forward.
   "No, please I'm, I am a monster." And with that I bolt off to my room shutting and locking the door.

    The next day I avoid everyone and stay in my room. The only time I go out is for meals but after I receive them I quickly take them back to my room and eat them alone. Most of the time I just cry or stare into space. I don't try to use the Force because I am to scared about what I could do. Poe doesn't come to check on me and I am okay with that. I don't want to hurt him again. The only human contact I have that day is Red Leader, from a different X-wing group, telling me that the Resistance was sent a distress signal from one of their allies on the planet Kashyyyk. The creatures on Kashyyyk fear that the First Order is planning to attack them since they refused to trade valuable resources the First Order needs. Therefore, at the crack of dawn tomorrow, the Resistance will send in help. With this news I take a shower and lay out the clothes I will wear tomorrow so I don't waste time in the morning. I then snuggle into my covers on the bed and lay there. I wait for morning to come knowing I will not be able to sleep tonight.

Hey so I know this is a short chapter and it is not very interesting but it will get better. Think of this as a set up chapter.

Is Poe +Roe breaking up or will they look past differences?
