The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter XXXII

WHEN WE LAND in the boarding bay I am met by a squad of storm troopers and in the middle of the group is no other then General Hux.
    "Ah Roe I didn't think you would make it. What a shame." He sneers at me.
    "I don't have time for your childish taunts we need to get Lord Kylo to the med wing fast. He is losing blood." Even though Hux doesn't like Kylo he gets right to action and orders the troopers to grab Kylo.
    They caring him down the hallway making a basket with their arms. The troopers white uniforms are stained red and a trail of blood follows us. I start to panic that he might die.  
    "Can't you walk faster. You all are so lazy if you dont go faster he will die!"  I begin insult the troopers as worry grow in me. I let out all my anger on the troopers as I know my taunts hurt them deeply.
    We finally make it to the med wing and Kylo is brought immediately into surgery. I walk through the doors as I hold Kylo's hand while he is wheeled in a cart but someone pushes us away.
     "What are you doing?! I need to be with him!" I struggle against the persons grip as I watch Kylo's sickly body wheel away.
    "Get off me!" I use the Force and slam the person against the wall. They hit their head and lay motion less on the ground. I take rattled breaths as I try to control my anger. I feel a dainty hand on my shoulder and I whip around clenching my fist. I turn to face a girl no older then me. She has strawberry red hair with emerald green eyes. Freckles are sprinkled across her face. She looks frightened as she bravely asks, "Miss please calm down. Lord Ren will be okay. If you will just follow me." I don't why I listen or why I suddenly calm down but when I look at this innocent girl she reminds me of me. Well the me before my life was turned upside down.
    She leads me to a hospital room and says with a soft voice, "After Lord Ren is done with surgery this is where they will put him. You can wait here until he comes. Now if you excuse me I will leave. If you need anything just ask." She turns her back and puts a hand on the door. I don't want her to leave so I whisper,
  "Is he going to die?" Suddenly the flood works start and my eyes being to pour. I had been holding myself together but the thought of not having the one person who keeps me sane is almost unbearable. I feel arms rap around me as the girl soothingly brushes my hair. She makes hushing sounds and I bury my head in her clothes. "Shh everything is going to be alright, sweetie." Her words were so kind I start to believe them as I push away from her.
    "Thank you. I needed a shoulder to cry on."
    "Anytime. Do you want me to stay?"
I nod my head as I wipe my nose and eyes. She hands me a tissue and I gratefully take it.
    For the next hours we talk. I find out her name is Nina and that she lived on a planet named Nabbo. She was recently brought to the First Order when her planet was attacked and all her family was killed. The First Order then forced her to work for them because of her medical background. She had a younger brother and sister and I learned how she watched storm troopers come and kill them right in front of her. I then told Nina my story and we bonded and became almost like sisters.
     When Kylo finally came out of surgery Nina was there for comfort. I started to break down when I saw Kylo's bandaged up face. I knelt down griping is hand as he laid on the bed. I felt a tap and I saw Nina, "I will leave you two but he needs rest. His wounds were very serious and he lost a lot of blood. I am sorry to say this but he may not make it."
   Nina shuts the door behind her as I scoot a chair close to Kylo's bed. The sterile white room contrast Kylo's raven hair as I brush it out of his face. I cup his hands in mine as I kiss them. I then place my fore head on is torso as I silently say,
   "Kylo if you can hear me you can't die. Promise me you won't. I can't live with out you. Kylo you are the bravest and toughest man I know and I know you can get through this. I know I have said this many times but Kylo from the first day I met you I might have felt like you weren't capturing me. But really you were saving me. You changed my life and I have never experienced feelings for someone like this before. Kylo you can't leave me on the crazy planet you are the only one who will ever understand me. Please Kylo," my tears soak his blanket as I climb on to the bed and snuggle up against him, "Kylo don't go. I love you."
   I wait for a response but I know I won't get one but I wait patiently for the time when he will wake again and I can see his beautiful eyes. I then drift off to sleep.

I am suddenly awoken when I hear a door click open. I look up to see Nina in the door way. I smile as I turn towards Kylo. I lightly kiss his cheek then climb out of the bed and make my way to the door. Nina motions for me to follow her. We walk down a hallway and we remain quiet. Nina breaks it when she says, "Roe I know you having feelings for Kylo but he isn't doing well. In his condition it would take a miracle." Strangely I nod understandingly to her. Deep down inside of me I know that if it was anyone else that delivered the news they would be laying dead on the floor. But Nina is like the sister I never could imagine hurting her. We begin to turn back towards Kylo's room when a rush of nurses run in the same direction as we are going. I turn my head to look at Nina and her eyes say it all.
    I break out into a sprint as I round the corner and I see Kylo's door wide open as a flood of medical staff pour in. I barge into the room pushing anyone in my way with the Force. I look towards Kylo's bed as I see him figiting and lashing out in wild directions. The nurses voices start to blend together as the shout trying to stabilize him. Tears cloud my vision and I don't know what to do. I then feel a familiar touch as Nina drags me out of the room she starts to shake me trying to get me out of my daze. "Roe snap out of it. Kylo is have a seizure this is regular for a patient with this much blood lose." I try to believe the words she speaks to me but I know that wasn't any regular seizure. And my heart begins to break as I fall to my knees. I grip my chest as the pain of agony is to much to bare. I rock back and forth and cry out with grief.

I hope you guys like Nina. I am also excited to develop the story more. Can't wait!
