The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter XL

THE MINUTE I wake up I know something is different. I sit on the edge of my bed as I hold my head in my hands. A dull throb occurs in the back of my head and I know someone has been probing my mind. I know exactly who has done it.
    The thought of Kylo looking through my memories without my permission ticks me off. I quickly get dressed in my black robe and cape. I put on my helmet as I stride towards the command bridge.
     "Kylo this is the last straw." I whisper to myself furious at Kylo. The love I once felt for him has melted away and darkness has settled in that empty void in my heart. I have nothing to hide and now  nothing to lose.
     When I reach the bridge I walk straight in not bothering to ask for permission. I stomp right up to General Hux and yell. 
    "Where is Kylo?!"
  Hux turns around clearly annoyed with me. "He was just despatched by Supreme Leader Snoke on a secret mission."
   My thoughts turn in my head. Snoke didn't assign a mission. If he did I would have known about it. I begin searching my thoughts trying to find what Kylo had extracted from my memories. I finally find what Kylo was searching for and I feel my face turn red with anger.
    "You idiot! How could you have been so dumb as to let the traitor escape. I should have you killed for this!" I scream at Hux.
    "I...I don't understand..." Hux takes a step back away from me. Frightens and confused.
     "Oh you don't understand." I cross my arms annoyed as I roll my eyes. "Well let me help you. Kylo is not Kylo anymore. He has turned to the light side. I would have thought you would have noticed. Kylo has grown weak and because of this he was frightened. So in response he figured out where the Resistance base is. And as we speak is making his way to it!"
      "But how could he find the base no one know where it is."
      I shake my head. "Sometimes I wonder how you are a General. I used to work for the Resistance! You half wit! He violated my thoughts and took advantage of me. He has clearly shown which side he is on and because he choose the light side we have no choice but to hunt him down and kill him." Hux looks at me dazed as the news that Kylo has left still hasn't sunk in with him.
   "Ugh such an imbecile." I turn around as I head out the door leaving to talk to someone who will actually take action with this news and not just stand there like a mindless droid.

"Supreme Leader Snoke." I take a knee and bow my head.
  "And to what matter do I owe the pleaser of seeing you, Roe."
      I stand up and walk closer to Snoke. "Master, Kylo has escaped. He took a fighter and went searching for the Resistance base. He has betrayed us. He is a traitor and all I seek is permission to hunt and kill him."
  Snoke watches me as he ask, "Ah I see. And how did Kylo find the coordinates to the rebel base?" I know he already knows the answer but I say with embarrassment.
   "Master he received the information from me. But without me knowing he extracted it from my memories." I hang my head in shame and as I look up i expect to see disappointment splayed across Snokes face. But all I see is amusement.
   "Roe, I see no need to help you. Because you already have the resources to complete your goal." I begin to grow frustrated. My desire on revenge on the Resistance is so strong I can't help but plead,
     "Please Supreme Leader you must help me. The Resistance has taken everything away from me. My family, my life, and now Kylo. I have nothing else to live for and now I seek revenge. I would think you of all people would help me put my soul at rest. Please I need your guidance."
   I look to Snoke as I begin to grow desperate. Snoke lets a bellowing laugh that mocks me. "Oh my child please stop. You bring tears to my eyes. Your pathetic pleads will get you no where i see that you are troubled and I care about my favorite apprentice. So I will help you."
     A smile spreads across my face as I know I am one step closer to ending this pain within me.
   " What do you need me to do, master?"
    "First of all i need  you to get General Hux." At the mention of Hux's name I roll my eyes. I then feel something clamp down in my throat as Snoke yells at me.
    "Do you want my help or not." I shake my head not able to breath. Snoke releases me. I gather my self together and then walk out to retrieve Hux.

I return back to the training room with Hux.
    "Supreme Leader." Hux kneels down bowing. I watched amused by how awkward he looks. "You called for me."
    "Yes it just so happens I did, General. It is time to undergo Star Demolisher."
   Hux looks startled and a bit scarred. I am confused not knowing what Star Demolisher means.
    "Yes sir. I will begin the phase."
Hux turns on his heal and stops when he nears me. He stares at me with a mixture of excitement and worry. He opens his mouth to say something but then quickly shuts it and starts walking to the door once more.
   When he exits I turn to face Snoke. "What does Star Demolisher mean?"
   "Oh my child Star Demolisher means that the First Order will rise once more from its ashes. It means the dark side will not lose and will continue to reign over light. You remember Star Killer base?"
    "Yes master but what does this Demolisher have to do with a base that was blown up."
    "I was about to get to that." He looks at me annoyed. He clicks a button on his chair and a hologram pops up. I study the picture trying to make sense of what this machine is."Apprentice this is what Star Demolisher is."
      I study a blue print and in this blue print shows a machine. The machine looks like a ring except it is large enough to fit around the biggest planet and still have room to fly an X-wing between the planet and the machine. I read over the plans and I notice it say.
This machine absorbs energy from stars. It stores the energy in the ring within compartments that line the inner part. To destroy planet the ring must be placed around planet. The ring then used the suns energy to shoot a thin but powerful beams. The beam sliced through the planet cutting the planet in half.
    I make a small gasp as I realize what I am starring at.
     "It is another Star Killer base.  But how?"

Okay so description of  Star Demolisher is a little shaken but in the next chapter I will explain it better
