The Force Between Us // Kylo Ren

Chapter XXX

"KYLO! KYLO!" I shake his shoulders as I stare into his blank eyes. "Please Kylo you have to snap out of it. This place is going to blow up we need to get out of here."
   Kylo finally snaps out of his trance as he nods his head. I help him up as he stumbles when he puts weight in his bad side. "Woah there. Slow down you where just shot."
   "Dark siths aren't supposed to fear pain. They are supposed to enjoy it." I hear coldness lock into his voice as he pushes off of me and limps to the exit. I run to join him and I try to put and arm under him to stabilize him but he glares at me. I step away as we walk out side.
    When the door slides open I grip my cape and rap it around myself. The wind tugs at my clothing and I see Kylo head towards the forest.
     "Kylo! Wait stop you can't go in there. You are injured!" I yell back in panic.
    "And why would you care. You made it perfectly clear that you don't like me."
    "No please Kylo listen. I was just mad and frustrated. The darkness make you do things you regret just how you regret killing your own father!"
    "I do not regret killing my father! He was just an obstacle in my way of achieving the full power of the dark side. He was full of light and I needed to cut his ties with me!"
    "So that's it. Your just going to separate yourself from the ones you love. You know you can't go killing everyone you know who contains light!" Snow starts to whip around as my body grows numb from the temperature.
     "Who knows maybe I can."
    "Well if that is true then you are going to have to kill me too! I saw what the dark side does to people and I know that it isn't to late for you to stop feeding the flame of hatred with in you. Please Kylo just take my hand." I hold out my hand as I beg him with my eyes.
   He eyes my outstretched arm and he almost take it but he shakes his head and yells back,
  "You were just telling me how I unpleased Snoke would be with me. That I was weak with the dark side. But now look at me. I just killed my father my only tie to the light side. I am finally free and I know that Supreme Leader Snoke will be very proud of me. The only thing you have to worry about is yourself because you are going down a path of light that I will not follow." With that he turns around and trudged through the forest to find the girl to try and persuade her to join the dark side once more.
     I stand there dumb founded but I don't lose hope because I know I need to get Kylo out, away from the darkness before it totally consumes him. So I take action and sprint back to the base.
    When I enter the doors the building is chaotic. People are running around and I see a couple people with case running out the door towards the shuttles. I find my way to the control room where I know I will find the one person I don't want to see.
     "General Hux, permission to board the bridge?" I quickly stammer out.
I see Hux turn sharply in his heels as he smirks at me.
    "Ah Roe I know you would come crawling back to me. They always do. Permission granted." I spit out a sound of discuss
    "Get over yourself. I am not here to talk I have a very urgent matters." Hux walks up to me and grabs my fore arm and pulls me into a room where we can talk in private.
     When I stumble into the room I hear Hux lock the door behind me. I turn to face him. "Hux, Kylo is in trouble. We need to take a shuffle to find him." Hux walks up to me and circles around. He grabs my hair in a stalker-ish way and sniffs it. I react by  yanking my hair and slapping him in the face.
    "Dont you dare touch me."
   "Now now there is no need to get hostile. I am sure Kylo is fine."
    "Please I sense Kylo is not in his right mind. We have to go out and get him."
    "As much as I like to I am afraid we can't." He looks at me with a pouty face but I know he is joking. "Unfortunately all the shuttles are being dispatched for evacuation."
    I look at him confused. "Why would we be evacuating?"
    He lets out a surprised laugh that mocks me. "You mean you haven't felt the rumbling or noticed that almost the entire Rebel fleet is attacking us."
It is true that I haven't noticed. I was to worried about Kylo but now I can feel the shutters of the building and the sound of distance shooting.
     I look at Hux with a new determination. "Hux if we are evacuating that means the Star Killer base isn't safe anymore. And if Kylo is out there that means he isn't safe. Someone has to get him."
   "Well if you put it that way... No. Besides that little spoiled brat should die he and his little tantrums have no place in the First Order."
      "Don't you ever say that about him again." I grit my teeth together as I become defensive and angry. I begin to force choke Hux as he struggles for breath.
    "You can't do anything to me." Hux breaths out as he struggles for breath. "I am to important and besides... this isn't the first... time someone as choked... me to get what they... want" his words become more separated as he struggles for breath.
     I let go of him realizing he is no help as I stride out of the room and towards the hanger.
     If the First Order won't help Kylo then I will.
