Throughout the night Emma wandered around Granny's speaking to various people, including her small group of friends who, surprisingly, didn't question Regina hugging her.

No matter how many people the girl spoke to, or how many times her parents or friends would try to steal her away, the blonde somehow always managed to find her way back to Regina.

It was like her life was playing, repeatedly in a complete loop. It was as though there was a strong gravitational connection that was pulling them together in ways that neither woman could explain.

The flirty atmosphere between the pair had increased immensely within the few hours at the diner. The amount of self-control each woman need not to kiss the other in front of everyone is terrifying. Regina was so unbelievably gorgeous tonight, even more so than usual which Emma thought was completely impossible.

Halfway through the night, Zelena grabbed the blonde by the arm.

Emma raised an eyebrow, "what's up?" She asked in confusion.

The girl watched the redhead carefully as she smiled like a loon, "oh, just thought I'd let you know that you're staying at mine tonight" she smirked.

The blonde opened her mouth to speak but her friend cut her off, "before you say anything, I've already spoken to your mom, she's fine with it" the redhead added with a short maniacal giggle.

Emma stared at the woman in front of her, "there must be a catch. She's been unable to wipe that stupid grin off her face since the second she pulled me over" she thought to herself.

The girl narrowed her eyes, "what are you planning?" She asked.

Zelena shook her head quickly, "nothing" she squeaked, her voice rising three octaves.

Emma shook her head, "you're up to something" she muttered.

The younger girl shook her head, "no, I'm not" she said putting her hand over her heart like she was offended, "how dare you think that" she mocked.

The blonde rolled her eyes at the overdramatic redhead in front of her.

Zelena pulled Emma tight against her for a hug, "just that I'm staying at Ruby's tonight, so you and Regina will have the house to yourselves" she whispered in her friend's ear.

Emma's eyes widened, she was about to respond but the redhead quickly scurried off into the room before the blonde could grab her.

The eighteen-year-old let out a loud groan, "and there's the catch" she muttered to herself as she rolled her eyes, "Trust Zelena to continue meddling. What exactly was I expecting?" The girl thought to herself.

Emma heard a soft chuckle from behind her.

The girl turned and met a pair of beautiful cocoa eyes, "everything okay?" The older woman asked.

The blonde scoffed, "if by okay you mean Zelena just telling me that you and I were going to be alone tonight then, yes, everything is completely fine," the girl explained rolling her eyes.

Regina's eyes widened slightly, she didn't know.

The brunette bit her lower lip, "God, that was something I could watch for hours" the young girl thought to herself.

Regina sighed, "trust Zelena" she muttered.

Emma raised an eyebrow.

The older woman sighed, "she informed me that you were staying the night again but not that she had made her own arrangements elsewhere" she muttered.
