Emma stood at her locker sorting out what she needs for her last few classes of the day along with whatever she needed to do homework over the weekend. She also grabbed the container she puts her lunch in and put it in her bag, both because it was lunchtime, and so I don't need to come back at the end of the day.

Emma's first few weeks at Storybrooke High have been quite successful. She has blended in quite well and hasn't attracted any unwanted attention from any of the popular group of people, except for that first day in the cafeteria.

The blonde looked up at Ruby who was standing next to her, "so, are you definitely coming shopping with us after school?" She asked quickly.

Ruby has just stood there for about five minutes going on about the Friday afternoon shopping trips with Belle and Tink that the girl has missed out on over the past few weeks. Shopping isn't really the blonde's thing, but she decided that this week she was going to go with them since the rest of the girls have been asking her relentlessly, so she can't weasel her way out of it again like she has the past few Fridays.

The blonde nodded, "yes, I'm definitely coming shopping with you guys after school" the young girl responded trying to sound joyful and slightly excited when on the inside she was trying to mentally prepare herself for the boredom that is soon about to come when she gets dragged into every shop they can.

Ruby let out a small squeak of delight and clapped her hands together happily. A wide smile crossed the brunette's face, "Yay! What do you have last thing? I'll meet you outside your classroom" she told her blonde friend.

Emma hesitated slightly, knowing she wouldn't like the answer, which would probably cause her to change her mind and tell Emma just to meet them outside.

The young girl cleared her throat, "English" she replied eventually.

Emma tried her best, but she couldn't help but smile. She and Regina got on well, the blonde wouldn't say that she was a teacher's pet or anything, she never wanted to be that kind of person, but ever since the Mills family stayed for dinner their bickering and teasing challenges have only grown over the past few weeks and are almost like second nature.

Ruby let out a groan of annoyance as the blonde threw her black rucksack over her shoulder, "how do you enjoy that subject when you when you have the Evil Queen..." Ruby continued to ramble on but Emma had zoned out at the mention of the teacher's nickname. The girl felt anger begin to bubble up inside her at the mere mention of it.

Emma quickly cut the brunette off by harshly slamming her locker door shut, "will you stop calling her that!" She yelled.

A few people turned around to see what was going on, but most people just ignored the pair.

"I've put up with everyone calling her 'The Evil Queen' every time she is brought up in a conversation but now it's too often and I'm sick of it, Regina is anything but Evil, sure she's a little stern and snappy when she wants to but she's not evil!" the blonde screamed internally.

Emma looked around to see Miss Mills standing at the end of the hall. She made eye contact with the older woman for a brief second before the brunette made a slight head movement as if she wanted the young girl to follow her, turned away and made her way swiftly back towards her classroom.

The blonde looked back at Ruby who was still standing there in shock at the girl's sudden outburst, "I'll see you later, Ruby" she muttered dryly before completely turning away from her completely.

The girl made my way quickly down the hall and turned the corner.

Once she was out of Ruby's line of sight, the young girl headed straight for Regina Mills' classroom. She gave a light knock on the door before walking in.
