Emma sat in the apartment at the dining room table finishing off the last bit of homework.

It was 3 pm and the girl arrived home from Ruby's just over two hours ago and got stuck in so that she wouldn't have to worry about it later and have most of the rest of her Saturday and Sunday to herself.

It was nearing 4.30 pm whenever the girl eventually finished. The blonde sighed and cleared my stuff away before putting my stuff in my bag and leaving it down in its usual place by the door.

Mary Margaret walked over and sat next to her daughter on the couch, "hey" the small brunette greeted her.

Emma smiled, "hey," she responded as her phone buzzed on the coffee table.

The blonde leaned forward and picked it up to find a text from Zelena.

"Hey, Swan! Get your ass over here! I have an idea!" ~Zelena

She stared at the phone for a minute in confusion before replying.

"Do I get to know what this idea is about?" She questioned and waited silently for a reply.

"You'll know soon 😉. Trust me you'll love it! 😘" ~Zelena

Emma looked over to Mary Margaret, "do you mind if I go over to Zelena's? She wants to talk to me about something" she asked.

Her adoptive mother smiled, "go ahead, I think what you did for her yesterday is really nice. I think it's nice that you've offered to be her friend even though everyone hates her, especially Ruby" she added at the end.

The blonde stared at her for a moment in confusion, "Ruby?" she questioned. It confused the girl, as far as she knew Ruby was friendly towards everyone, except Kathryn that much was obvious, but the blonde couldn't quite understand why Ruby hated Zelena.

Mary Margaret let out a soft sigh, "I'll let her tell you, have fun" she told me with a smile.

Emma nodded and smiled, "thanks, mom. I'll see you later" she mumbled before throwing on her red leather jacket and grabbing her phone.

"Are you coming or not Swan?" ~Zelena

The blonde chuckled softly, "Yeah, I'll be there in 10 😉" she quickly responded before making her way towards the Mifflin Street Mansion.

Emma walked up the gravel paved path towards the door. The girl knocked softly on the door and waited patiently. When the door opened she expected to see Zelena but instead, she came face to face with Regina.

The brunette looked at the girl with a smile, "Hello, Emma" she greeted her student kindly.

The blonde smiled, "hey, Regina" she responded with a smile as the older woman stood to the side and invited the young girl inside.

Emma walked in hesitantly as Regina closed the door behind her. The girl looked around nervously, "Holy shit, I have to say, this place is really nice" the girl thought to herself.

It's not as fancy as Emma was expecting it to be, it was casual yet stylish.

The blonde looked up to see Zelena standing at the bottom of the stairs, "come on, Swan!" she yelled before dashing away back up the stairs before the girl even had a chance to respond.

Regina chuckled, "as much as I'd love to steal you away, I think you're wanted," the woman husked before shooting the blonde an almost flirty wink.

Emma couldn't respond for a moment before a slight blush crept across her cheeks.

The older woman chuckled, "third door on the left, see you later, Emma," she said with a smile before walking off moving her hips as she walked.

The blonde stood there for a moment in shock before making her way upstairs.

Emma knocked on the instructed door before it flew open and Zelena practically dragged her inside, "what the hell, Zelena? What's this about?" She questioned.

Zelena smirked, "what were you talking to Reggie about? Took you long enough to get up here" she joked lightly.

The blonde couldn't help but laugh at how she was getting on. This was like an all-new side of Zelena that she's never seen before. In school when she was around Kathryn or her mother, the redhead was silent and didn't do much to interact with anyone. When she's with Regina the girl's a little more talkative and a bit of a jokester. Now around her, Emma doesn't know how to react.

Emma sighed as the blush returned to her cheeks, "she told me that she would love to steal me away, but she decided not to since you wanted me" she told the redhead honestly.

Zelena let out a high-pitch giggle before collapsing backward onto her bed, "oh my God. I can't believe it actually worked" she squeaked happily.

The blonde stared at the younger girl in confusion, "what worked?" she questioned as she took a seat next to the redhead on the bed.

Zelena giggled as she quickly sat up, "I may or may not have cornered Regina about her crush on you last night shortly after you left" she told the blonde with a small mischievous smile.

Emma groaned and threw herself back on the bed, "you what!" She squeaked as she covered her face with her hands.

Zelena laughed, "I'll take by your reaction that you like her too?" she pressed.

The blonde peeked out from behind her hands to see the redhead staring at her, eyebrow raised and a smirk on her face, "how could I not? She's amazing! She's sweet, she's funny, she's beautiful and do not get me started on her smile. Jesus" the girl confessed as she sat up.

Zelena smiled as she clapped her hands together happily, "perfect! Now on to phase two!" she said excitedly, "what was phase one?" I questioned.

She rolled her eyes, "get you two to confess to me that you both have feelings for each other. Jesus, Swan, keep up" she said giving me a playful swat across the arm.

Emma couldn't help but laugh "okay then, what's phase two?" She questioned.

Zelena smiled and shot her new friend a mischievous glare before zipping her mouth shut like a child, "that's for me to know, and for you to find out" she responded with a smirk.

The girl sighed, "what exactly did you say to Regina when you 'cornered' her last night?" she asked slowly.

Zelena shrugged, "just that I could see that you clearly had feelings for her and that she should try and pursue you. She should drop small flirtatious comments here and there to see how you would react" she responded with a shrug.

Zelena frowned, "my sister has dated one person in her entire life. It was when she was 18 and if only lasted a year. She's 29 now, she's never allowed herself to love anyone, she's always been too afraid of rejection because... Never mind" she trailed off, "one day she just went rogue. It was almost like she just turned off all of her emotions and closed everyone off" she mumbled.

Emma nodded, "so, that's what my part is? You think I can help Regina get back to how she used to be?" She questioned.

Zelena's gaze softened, "I know you can, you may not have noticed but ever since you arrived she's been a lot more open. I mean, she admitted to her younger sister that she had a crush on one of her students. I barely even got a hello unless there was something wrong or I needed help and mom wasn't there" she confessed.

"I feel like I'm learning a lot about the Mills family as time goes on and that they're not what they seem" Emma thought to herself.

Zelena smiled, "so, you in, Swan?" She asked.

The blonde chuckled, "I don't know? Am I in to try and get the woman I like. You tell me, Zelena?" she played shooting the redhead a playful smirk.

Zelena just simply laughed.
