Road Trip to Earth

"Bones, we have to chase him back to Earth!"
"Marie I don't think we are going to have to, it looks like he's headed right for it!"
The ship jolted as it was pushed faster through space by Sulu, pursuing the enemy ship. Marie fought to sit up.
"Transport me back over to his ship, I have to try and stop him"
"Marie that isn't safe"
"None of this is safe! We are most likely going to die anyway so just let me try! He loved me for a while, I felt it, maybe the feelings are still there. Send me to his ship"
Bones sighed, obviously at war with himself.
"The captain will never forgive me if I send you over there and you die"
"So I just won't die, I'll come back as soon as things get bad"
"Fine!"
Marie jumped off the bed and straightened her clothes and hair. Bones did some calculating on a console and suddenly the yellow lights twirled around Marie. She saluted Bones as she disappeared and reappeared on the bridge of Khan's ship. His hair was falling out of place and he was screaming commands at the ship's computer. When Marie appeared he whirled around to face her.
"What are you doing here? Go back to the Enterprise"
"Khan, why are you doing this? You double crossed us!"
"I had to. You know what he did to my family, what he planned to do"
"I know, but your family is safe! We can take them out of the torpedoes and revive them"
"Nobody at Starfleet will let that happen. I need my family on my ship"
"Khan, Kirk won't allow that. Just stop this madness, come back with me and we can go on as planned, everything will be ok"
"It can't be ok, don't you see? I've gone against the rules, I disobeyed your captain, he'll never trust me. Starfleet thinks I'm a criminal and worse, I've fallen in love with a bloody human!"
Khan put his face in his hands, tearing at his hair. Marie rushed to his side and threw her arms around him.
"You can apologize, take it all back! They'll forgive you"
Khan chuckled darkly.
"You think too highly of your precious Starfleet"
"Khan please, I'm just trying to give you a chance"
"Marie, darling, there's no hope for me. I've started down this path of getting my family by force and escaping, I have to keep going"
"Then I'm coming with you"
"You can't. It's too dangerous, and if I awaken my family, they'll kill you"
"You can't just leave me! I shouldn't have fallen for you either, we broke the rules for each other"
"I'm sorry, Marie"
Khan leaned down and planted a soft kiss on Marie's lips.
"I will always love you"
Khan slammed a button on a panel and Marie was transported back to the Enterprise. Bones was still standing in the med bay waiting for her.
"What happened? How did it go?"
"He wants his family. I have a plan"
Marie explained to Bones how they could remove the frozen people from the weapons and keep them in the cargo bay, while sending the empty casings over to Khan's ship. They could detonate and cause major damage to the ship's systems, and Khan would
have to come to the Enterprise.
"That just might work. I'll tell the captain, you get the bodies out"
Bones and Marie went their separate ways. Just then, Khan made a broadcast to their ship, demanding his family. Sulu initiated the transport of the active casings, and the detonation began. Khan's ship started smoking and parts of it caught fire. He set a course for Starfleet headquarters. The race was on.
