She knew it was going to happen. That she would be whisked away from her family to help deal with Voldemort. Couldn't he just take a break and let her enjoy her summer?! And why did it have to be the twins who came and got her? Reflecting on it, that was an interesting conversation.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Hermione.

"Getting you 'Mione." George.

"Getting me for what?!" Hermione.

"If we told you-" Fred.

"-we'd have to kill you."George.

"You know, it's annoying when you don't tell me things." Hermione.

"Who's this, sweetheart?" Mr. Granger.

"Mum, dad, this is Fred and George. Pain in the asses, these are my parents." Hermione.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Granger." Fred.

"Pleasant to meet you too. Would you like to come in?" Mrs. Granger.

"Mum, no-" Hermione.

"Of course-" George.

"-we would!" Fred.

"Absolutely not." Hermione.

"Hermione! What has gotten into you?" Mrs. Granger.

"Boys, why don't you come in, I'll start the tea." Mr. Granger.

"Of course!" Fred and George.

"Why? Why me?" Hermione.

"Hermione!" Mrs. Granger.

"Of course, mother." Hermione.

"So, 'Mione-" Fred.

"-we need to talk, then leave." George.

"Leave?" Mr. Granger.

"Wizarding world stuff, Mr. Granger." George.

"Don't worry, we will protect your daughter with our lives." Fred.

"How long will she be gone?" Mrs. Granger.

"I'm sorry, but it won't be before school starts." Fred.

"Well, I guess if it's helping your kind, her kind, we can let her help." Mr. Granger.

"Thanks, Mr. Granger!" George.

"Hermione, darling, why don't you go get packed? And don't roll your eyes at me." Mrs. Granger.

And that was how she ended up landing on the doorstep of Number 12 Grimmauld Place with Fred on her right, George on her left. Somehow, Hermione knew she was going to have a long summer. Fred put his arm on her head as if it was some sort of rest. George grinned wildly.

"Welcome to your home for this summer, Hermione Granger."
