Lisa's P.O.V

No way was I, Lisa Honey, going to have my boyfriend stolen by that red-headed, manipulative, bitch, called excuse me, Lily Evans!

As if he thought he could choose going to see her instead of spending time with me! Did he think I wouldn't see him and figure it out?

Well I didn't actually see them Amelia Smith in my year told me that she saw them through her window KISSING while she was at quidditch practice.

But still how could he ditch me for her?! Her, Lily Evans of all people! But she wasn't getting away with it. Because, as always, I have a plan.

You see, everyone is feeling all sorry for Evans because her parents just got killed by Voldemort and his 'regime'. But no one actually knows why, I mean Evans hasn't even left school yet, so she's not a famous witch and no one is going to care about a random muggle-borns parents.

But they might, if they had a reason. And I, Lisa Honey, conveniently seemed to be the only person who knew that reason.

My father, Gregory Honey, is part of the Department of Magical Catastrophes and after I told him I was Evans' friend, he told me all about what happened.

Long story short, somehow from a 'reliable source' Voldemort had found out about aspiring witches and wizards in Hogwarts through someone who obviously is close or in Hogwarts. And Evans' being smug and assuming, wrote a letter to her parents explaining all about this "old has-been, Moldy Voldy and his posse, causing trouble in the wizarding world" and saying that people like him would never be able better than Dumbledore.

Somehow, someone intercepted the letter, on orders and Voldemort was made aware of it apparently. And he got mad and to prove a point killed her parents.

So, I wonder what everyone would think that it was Lily Evans' cocky attitude that got her parents killed.

'James.' I called sweetly.

Lily's P.O.V

I thought everything was going to be alright. That's what everyone says 'oh everything will be alright in the end.' But it won't be. If I don't have James or my parents I don't know how to get through all these things that can only be helped by their presence.

Tears slid down my face and the pain growing worse in my chest made me want to scream and my restrain from screaming was the only thing that gave me a shred of hope I might still have some control over this situation.

'Hey.' The sound of James' voice floated to my ears and I spun around as fast as I could and hit my head off the wooden board on the back of my bed. I groaned and sat up.

Usually when James came to me he was happy and his eyes were full of life and joy. But now his eyes looked drained of happiness and he looked like he had just come to deliver more bad news which I couldn't handle right now.

He sat at the edge of my bed, sighed bluntly, looked up at me and said the words I'd never wanted to hear.

'Lily, about earlier, it wasn't right, what happened. It was a small mistake and it shouldn't of happened because I'm with Lisa and I... I'm in love with her. I think I just felt sorry about what happened your parents and got caught up in the moment and well... yeah.' He looked at the floor avoiding my gaze.
