James' P.O.V

'Profess--professor Dumbledo-- I'm sorry. I might ne-- need a minute.' I stood against the pillar next to door in Dumbledore's office panting. I had literally just ran from the Great Hall to Dumbledore's office.

'Oh no, please take your time Mr Potter, I was just pondering over a question. Now, do you think bathing in Pumpkin juice would be a particularly relaxing experiment to try?' He walks over to me and every few seconds looks up staring into space. But, he did as a question and, well, to be honest,

'I think that's a brilliant idea sir.' I replied still slightly out of breath.

'Ah, then another thing to attend to, later. But you came here on a purpose I presume?' He swiftly turned towards his desk and slowly sat in his chair.

'Yes, Professor,' finally able to compose myself I walk until I'm standing in front of Dumbledore 'well sir, there was this ad in The Daily Prophet about aurors, and I was wondering sir, with Voldemort becoming quite powerful the school or people who are against him must have some sort of plan to stop him, mustn't they?' I said slightly desperately.

'James, if I am to reveal some exceedingly and extremely confidential information, you must make sure it never falls into the wrong hands, if it were to, everything would fall apart.' He looked at me through a blank expression, intent on stopping me from seeing his emotions.

'For the good of the wizarding world and my friends, I would never breath a word to anyone, even if they tortured me, I'd rather die than betray my friends.' I look at Dumbledore in utter seriousness and I've never been more serious about anything else in my life.

'Well then... the past is in the past, but sometimes recent events must be remembered, in order to move forward.'

I looked at Dumbledore with intrigue and he quickly began to manoeuvre himself to a scarlet coloured bird with several gold feathers, the bird had a certain vibe about it. It was handsome and bold, looked well reserved and protective.

'You see, Mr Potter, there is a secret association that goes by the name 'The Order of the Phoenix', it is composed of several wizards and witches intent of stopping Voldemort and his regime. They are well trained and some very highly talented, this organisation is currently trying to protect the future of the wizarding world. If you were interested in being apart of this organisation, once you have finished school, you may join.'  As Dumbledore finishes my head tries to wrap itself around what I've just heard. A secret organisation? Stopping Voldemort? Protecting the wizarding world? Of course I want to join!

'Yes.' I say a little faintly and undoubtably look awestruck as I turn to join my friends again.

'James,' I turn around once more 'don't forget our agreement, not a word to anyone.' I nod and turn before shutting the door behind me.

I'm almost at the Great Hall when I stop and mentally kick myself, I never grabbed one of Dumbledores Fudge Fingers in the bowl on his desk! Ugh, I continued waking to the Great Hall.

Lily's P.O.V

'What do you think James wanted to talk to Dumbledore about?' I try to ask with anxiousness in my voice.

'No idea, probably just-- aha!' Sirius stops mid sentence and grabs the copy of The Daily Prophet sitting were James previously was fifteen minutes ago.

'What?' I look confused at it obviously not seeing what Sirius is.

'See? The ad for fudge fingers! He was just talking about them the other day. But he doesn't eat them often cus' I always take the micky out of him because of how much sugars in them, say he'll get fat.'
