"millie are you okay? you've barely eaten any of your lunch" noah asked. there were two main reasons i wasn't eating very much.

one, school cafeteria food is terrible.

two, i had my mind on other things. i was worried cause i hadn't seen finn all day and i kept thinking about everything that caleb said.

"i'm fine. i just feel a bit sick to my stomach." i answered. noah didn't say anything. it made me angry that he didn't even ask if i needed anything.

"noah, yesterday caleb came over to my house and said some things about you." i said. i wasn't quite sure how to confront him about caleb's accusations. 

"he said... he said you've been cheating on me." i added. noah swallowed hard.

"well guess what? caleb is full of shit. he's easily the stupidest person i've ever met." he scoffed.

"if caleb is so dumb, why do you always hang out with him?" i retorted.

"millie, follow me." he said as he stood up and started to walk toward the cafeteria exit. i followed him as he walked outside into the empty hallway. i knew that something bad was going to happen. i could tell by the look in his eyes.

noah was completely silent as we stood in the hallway. suddenly, he turned around and slowly. took a step towards me. before i could do anything, he grabbed my throat and started applying pressure.

"listen up bitch, you've gone too far this time."

i couldn't breathe and i was starting to get a bit dizzy. all i could do was hope he'd let go.

"you are really fucking stupid, and you're gonna pay for it." he exclaimed. 

he finally let go of my throat. i gasped for air. before i could run away, he punched me right in the nose and i fell to the ground in pain. my nose instantly started to bleed.

"fuck you." he scoffed as he walked away.

tears were streaming down my face as i laid on the cold floor. to be completely honest, i thought noah was going to murder me.
