Jungkook ~ Star gazing

Stars. What're the words that came to you? Well, in your head, it was pretty. Stars are pretty, all of us know that. Even you, and you've been through some ugly times. Believe it or not, the stars helped you, they helped you believe and move on.

"What're you thinking about?" Jungkook walked in, distracting your thoughts.

"Oh, just stars." You said, smiling.

"Stars? What about them?" He asked, while taking a seat on your bed.

"How they've helped me through times, cliche I know but they have. Oh and the fact that they're really pretty..." A blush appeared on your face and Jungkook chuckled.

"What're you blushing? It's not embarrassing to say that you like stars." You just simple shrugged your shoulders, "What hard time did they get you through?" He asked and your breath hitched.

"Don't freak out when I tell you though..." He nodded, "I was in a bad family, an abusive one and I used to wish upon a star to get me out of it. And then I met you guys, I mean heck, Yoongi is my cousin for gods sake. You saved me, all of you did."

"Have you moved on from that family?"

"Of course I have, never will I go back. Never again." You smiled, "What brings you into my room, anyway?"

"You were quiet, so I wondered if you were sleeping." You shook your head, "Well I can see that."

"You don't say. How are you?"

"Good actually, you?"

"Pretty good, you?" You realised what you said and face palmed, "Jesus Christ..."

"Same." Jungkook laughed. You sighed, "Okay, I'm sorry, but it's funny."

The two of you laughed. It was such a relaxing conversation. The sun was high in the Sky, the heat was in every part of the house but your room. So, everyone came in. "I guess the party is in here."

You shrugged your shoulders, "Sorry for the mess..." Yoongi laughed.

"Mess? Have you seen my room? I dropped a pencil in there about a month ago and I still haven't found it." He snorted, "I dropped it."

"Jesus Christ, why don't you clean up?" Namjoon asked. You opened the curtains and looked outside, the sun was setting, causing the sky to glow all sorts of colours.
It really was beautiful. Jungkook sat next to you and held your hand, causing you to smile.

Jimin whistled, "Love birds." Namjoon mumbled.

"Aw cute..." Tae said, smiling a bright smile. Everyone in this room shipped you and Jungkook together, it was pretty funny.

"I wanna stargaze." You said, breaking the silence. "I know it's random but I-"

"Lets go." Jungkook said, "The stars look the prettiest around midnight. We'll go then." Everyone in the room audibly awed.

You blushed, "R-really? Are you serious?" He nodded and you smiled, "Yes!" He kissed you.

"PDA." Yoongi said, Jungkook heard this and he kissed you again, this time a little rougher.

"Fight me, Yoongi." He squared up and Yoongi smirked.

"Come at me, coconut." He laughed, obviously joking. Right now, we were a family, just like yesterday and it'll be the same tomorrow. And the day after that, nothing can change us.

"Okay, while you two are waiting for midnight, I'm going to bed." Tae yawned, "Goodnight!" He hugged us and left the room.

Everyone else started to agree, "Me too, have fun!" You smiled and let them all go to bed, of course you and Jungkook stayed awake, awaiting for the perfect time.

You were laying down on the floor, talking to Jungkook. "Are you really gonna let me stargaze with you?" You asked.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I? I do love you after all." You giggled.

"I don't know, you need your sleep. Me? Nah, I don't sleep a lot in general." You said, smirking.

"It's worrying how little you sleep, sometimes you don't sleep at all." He frowned, "Baby, you gotta sleep."

"Not tonight. I'll sleep tomorrow, during the day." You laugh. "I promise." The clock read 22:30pm only an hour and a half left.

You yawned, and closed your eyes. "You can take a nap until it's time, if you're okay with that?" Jungkook said, kissing your head.

"Yes please..." You snuggled closer to him and then drifted off into a small but sweet sleep.

I look around me but all I saw was trees. This isn't like the last time I was here... the last time was scary this time... blue butterflies were fluttering around me. I smiled when one landed on me nose.

The sky was covered in stars, I could even see planets that other people don't know about.

This was a magical place to be in, a magical place to see. Just.. magical.

You opened your eyes to an alarm. "Wha-"

"It's time to go and see some stars."

You held Jungkook's hand while he took you on a walk. You looked at the sky in awe, it was beautiful. Stars shone brighter than a cashiers future. "It's-"

"Not the best yet. Just wait." He let go of your hand and ran to the stop of the hill, you followed and sat down. "Lay back." You did exactly that, you gasped at what you saw.

No matter where you looked, a star was there. To the left, right, up, down and centre. Beautiful was an understatement, magical didn't live up to its name in this case.

"All those days watching from the windows..." You began to sing, "All those years, outside looking in."

"All that time never even knowing," Jungkook joined in, "Just how blind I've been."

"Now I'm here blinking in the starlight, now I'm here suddenly I see." You reached out as if you would be able to grab a star, "Standing here it's all so clear, I'm where I'm meant to be..."

"And at last I see the light, it's like the fog had lifted." The two of you began to sing together. Nothing felt more magical. "And at last I see the light, it's like the sky is new."

"And it's warm and real and bright, and the world has somehow shifted." You smiled, "All at once everything seems different, now that I see you."

Jungkook kissed you before he started singing, "All those days, chasing down a daydream, all those years living in a blur. All that time, never truly seeing things the way they were." He smiled and reached out to you, "Now she's here, shining in the starlight. Now she's here, suddenly I know. If she's here, it's crystal clear, where I'm meant to go!"

The two of you sang your heart out, "And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted. And I last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright, and the world has somehow shifted."

"All at once everything is different, now that I see you." Jungkook looked at you, and you looked at him.

"Now that I see you..."
