Word count: 1060 A/n: Lets start by setting fire to Maggie's hair. She broke Brennen's heart and now I shall break her face. I'm not sorry for the song 'cause I'm just not *lols* I think it fits in with the chapter, but you tell me. Colby's POV After all this time without her I finally have her back and I was for sure not letting anything or anyone take her away from me again. As cheesy as that may sound. We went to y/n's favorite restaurant, t/n/o/t/r. She had on a smile, it brightened up the room and I didn't know how much I missed this. "I'm gonna order." I said as she smirked when she saw me staring at her. "Okay." She whispered and I smiled, the most genuine smile I had smiled in weeks. Y/n's POV As I sat down I noticed that this place was fairly empty. I pulled out my phone and checked twitter. A bunch of fans had asked to take pictures at the park and had tagged me in them so I decided to see them. I felt a presence in front of me and I had thought it was Colby so I looked up. So, not, Colby. A man was sitting in front of me smiling. "What?" I asked standing up. He answered me after standing up as well. "Someone as pretty as you can't be alone. I'd be worried." He smirked as if though that had worked. "Listen I'm not alone, you can stop worrying." He looked around, "You don't seem to be with anyone." I narrowed my eyes and pointed an accusing finger at him. "Look, I told you once and I don't repeat myself. I have a boyfriend and he's here." As if on cue Colby walks up and asks "Hey, babe, is everything okay?" Then he saw the man. "Can I help you?" He asked and the man looked Colby up and down. Granted he was much taller than Colby but that didn't mean he could mess with him. "Oh baby, you could do much better than him. Come with me and you will actually be happy." I rolled my eyes as he put emphasis on the word 'come.' I decided to start off how he did. "Oh baby, I'm taken. Take a god damn hint." Colby tensed as I raised my voice. "Sweetheart, this kid isn't gonna give you what you want." He said grabbing my shoulders. I was about to snap and no one can stop me when I snap. "Y/n. Babe." Colby was calling me but I scowled at the man as he continued. "Y/n. What an amazing name for a girl that deserves better. This emo freak can go and you can come with me." That did it. I slapped him and I glared at him. Then I spat between gritted teeth, "Don't, sweetheart me. I have a boyfriend and you're an ancient dirt bag that hits on anything that moves." He tried to say something but I continued "Maybe if you weren't such a narcissist bastard you would have someone to call your own." I grabbed Colby's hand and walked out of the restaurant, aware that I made a huge scene. "Y/n." Colby said as I walked forward basically stomping at the rage. "Y/n." Colby said a bit louder and I turned and said "What Colby?" He looked a bit sad at my tone and I came out of the spell I was in. "Oh, god. Colby I'm sorry." I said as I hugged him tears spilling slowly. He kissed my forehead and said "It's fine. I'm also sorry I shouldn't have left you alone." I looked down. "But you worked, well I'm assuming, you worked really hard on this and I messed it up with my big mouth." He chuckled and said "Nah, Max and Everly helped and they paid for this. I was just also really excited to have you back and Max and Everly broughtyourstuffbacktothehouse." He had said the last part really quickly so I couldn't understand and looked at him. He rubbed the back of his neck and said "Max and Everly brought your stuff back to the house." I laughed and said "Well no wonder they where so happy this morning." He chuckled and we walked back to his car. "Pizza?" I asked and he laughed, but answered "Pizza." ______________________ "And that's how my goldfish committed suicide." I finished my story as we laid on the bed staring at the ceiling. Colby laughed and turned to face me. "Your goldfish seems gnarly." I laughed at his joke and then asked him what time it was. "Time for you to kiss your boyfriend." He leaned in and when he was an inch close to my face I rolled off of the bed. "Hey!" He yelled as I ran down the stairs. I quickly hid in an empty cabinet. Once I saw that Colby had passed I quietly crept out of my hiding place. I screamed as I saw that he was still standing there. He grabbed my arm before I ran off and pulled me to him. "You can't run from me now." He said putting his forehead on mine. I smiled and said "At least I tried." He chuckled and leaned in to kiss me. As soon as we did the door opened, Max and Everly stood there with one hand on their hips. "So, getting frisky already." Everly said and I laughed. "I thought you guys where getting food." I chuckled and began to tell them what happened. Everly stood there and then said "You got pizza and didn't save me any." I returned her money and then they scurried out like mice. I shook my head as they argued outside about which one got to pick the restaurant. Colby grabbed my hand and speed walked to the bedroom. He closed the door and when I tried to reach for the handle he turned me around and hugged me from behind. He kissed my cheek and I smiled. For once maybe the storm came before the calm, and maybe now our lives are starting to go right. _________________________ How did you like that?! I'm actually excited for the next chapter!
