Senior Night

The two songs in this chapter are "Schools Out" by Allice  Cooper and the second song is "Here's to Never Growing Up" by Aril  Lavigne. Hope you enjoy the chapter! Please vote and comment as you wish.

"Soooo.... We are  performing at a high school?" Yugi grins, arching an eyebrow. I nod while pulling on a grey sleeveless shirt and my leather pants. "That should  be fun, but how did you find that out. Seto said he would tell us this  morning."

I smirk at him, "I have my ways."

"Oh? Such as..?" Yugi eyes me playfully.

"We stole Seto's planner," I chuckle. The color vanishes from Yugi's pink cheeks.

"Oh, Atemu. He's going to be so upset," he gapes at me.

"Probably,  but it was worth it to see the actual schedule for today. The band is meeting this morning to decide on what songs to perform and to  practice," I stare at Yugi's reflection in the mirror behind me.

"You said it is a senior night, right?" Yugi inquires, unzipping his bag.

"Yes, that's right," I confirm, sliding my hands down my shirt and enjoying the feel of the soft fabric against my fingertips.

Yugi reaches into his bag and tosses a small back notebook to me, "I have  two songs we can use for that." He approaches me and flips through the pages of the notebook. "This one," he points to  a song, "and," he continues flipping further back, "this one."

My  eyes scan through the lyrics, the smile on my lips growing wider with each line of lyrics I read, "Yugi, these two are perfect!" They are better than the songs I had in mind!

An attractive blush dances across his cheeks, painting them pink and then spreading all the way up to his ears, "Thank you.  Marik, Malik, Ryou, and Bakura already know these two. You would just  need to learn them."

"That shouldn't be too bad. I'm a fast study  with music," I wink at him. "Let's head off to meet the others." He gives me a small peck on the lips and he takes the notebook from me. He  picks up his guitar case and heads for the door. I'm actually excited.  Those two songs are so perfect for this event!

Seto  bursts into the room where we are rehearsing for senior night later tonight. His hair is in complete disarray; the poor man looks utterly frantic. His eyes meet mine.

"Yami, have you seen my organizer? I can't find it! I need to find that thing!" the words come flooding out of his mouth.

I almost feel bad about lying to him, "No, Seto. I'm sorry. I haven't seen it today." ... Almost.

He pauses, turning to look at us, "What are you all doing?"

We blink at each other before Marik responds, "You said we have a gig today. So we are getting warmed up for it."
