*3 Months Later*
"Greetings are generally spoken the same way as we speak them now." Dr. Cory said as if she was doing a presentation.

I tried my best to look like I was paying attention.

We were all gathered in the auditorium and had apparently finished our "normal" classes.
I didn't learn shit and I know I'm not the only one.

After Dr. Cory finished her 5 hour speech about some random things, I decided to just leave.
Gary went to Ena for normal classes.
Yep, she really did teach him.
In return, he's teaching her how to fight better.
She won't beat me anyway so it's cool.

I walked down the hallway as some girls started dismissing from the auditorium.
They saw me and squealed like I was some celebrity or something.

It's hard being awesome.

These powers got me thinking why I haven't gotten my second ability yet.
Apparently the people who are supposed to get it are:
1. Grey King
2. Lucas Swan
3. Lilliana Cord
4. Cara Parker
5. And me

I've heard that Lilliana stayed at rank 1 only because she had the power of mind controlling. No wonder she controlled that dragon during the test so easily.

Her second power is rumored to be water bending which completely does not relate at all to her first one.

Dr. Cory told us a while back that our second power depends on our past experiences.
Lilliana probably almost died drowning or something.

The other people who also had two powers went up quite a few ranks as well.
Still behind me, but they did improve.

Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who haven't discovered my second power yet.
Lightning may seem like it has like multiple powers combined into one, but it's actually only one power.
I think.

I mean I have the vision to observe anything happening in most places. I also have lightning attacks of course, and I can also run at the speed of light (slower than someone who actually has speed power though).

I know, I know, you're probably thinking:
Okay Mr. Big Mouth,
Okay you talkative and vain asshole,
what's your point here?

Well my point is I'm always the last one to get my ability, and that's unfair.
I had to wait THREE years while some only waited for 1-2 years.

I shivered and stuffed my hands in the pockets of my neon yellow hoodie.
Yes, neon yellow. I got a thing for fashion.

I forgot to mention it's the middle of December.
Even if it's Christmas, we'll still have class.
They're wicked.
And they never put up decorations since we practically hit every single wall if we're training our powers.

But still, that doesn't keep the school from practically becoming an ice cube.
You know what's really cold? The hallways of course.

I never see anyone shiver as much as me, and the only chatter of teeth I hear is myself.
Everyone always looks at me as if I'm going through a seizure or something.
It's not my fault my lightning can't get used to this cold weather.

Worst part is when fangirls think this is their moment to shine as they all try to gather around me and "keep warm".

They got electrocuted.
And that's the only fun part about being cold.

James walked up to Gary and I during the lunch period, and I tried so hard to concentrate on my hamburger bun.
I'm pretty sure if I concentrated enough, lasers would shoot out of my eyes instead of lightning.
