Sarah smirked a bit and gave no mercy.

I could see her turn her left leg a bit as she hurdled towards me.

It was so slow.
Sort of like throwing a ball up in the air.

With a quick movement, I threw the back of my hands up, and felt a slight collision.
My eyes glanced to Sarah, her fist right on the back of my hand.

She looked at me in shock, unable to speak.
The other freshmen gathered together and I could hear their murmurs.

"This dude is a monster..."
"How did he block that punch with his hand only?"
"I didn't even see that coming!"
"Pft that's only because he's a senior."

I rolled my eyes, but my focus came on back again, once I heard a slight swift motion.

Sarah's going at it again?!
This time she pivoted herself, trying to jab in my the ribs with her elbow.

I linked my arms around her shoulders, and stopped her arm with on hand.
Then with another motion, I threw her across my shoulders and she landed on the ground with a thud.

Sarah coughed as I reached out my hand for her to take.

"What training have you had in the past?" She shoved my hand away.
Rude.

I pursed my lips.
"I'm not sure."

She eyed me like crazy.
"Then how long?"

"I'm not sure." I said again.

"How long?" She persisted.

"3 years, almost four."

Sarah shook her head.
"Four years and yet you're this advanced."

"Uh...thanks?"

She grabbed me abruptly by the collar.
"I've spent 15 years trying to get to where I am today buddy, and yet you ruined my reputation."

Wait, why is she mad at me?

I gave her a confused look as she sighed.
"Your name?"

"Raymond Lyder."

"Well, Raymond Lyder, we'll be depending on you from now on." She spoke as she walked away.

"Wait....what?" I muttered.
This bipolar girl...

The others walked past me, with a look of fear on their faces.
The one girl who got in shuffled her feet toward me.
"Hey...you were really cool."

I looked at her blankly.

"My name's Jenny."

Ok?

"Maybe we could hang out some time."

Hang out...
My thoughts fazed again and I remembered this one time I was going to "hang out", but had almost died that day.
I had to go fetch cigarettes for these stupid 11 year olds and also got caught by the cops.

"No thanks."

Her smile dropped as she looked dejected.
Jenny's forehead wrinkled as she took her hand a shoved me, but I didn't budge.
