You're the slowest human I've ever seen.
The wall taunted.I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not even HUMAN you piece of concrete!"Actually I'm made from cement with a bit of fairydus—
I rolled my eyes again.
"I can't believe I'm engaging in an argument with concrete."You sure are moody. Why have you become like this?
I turned around to face the wall. "What do you mean? I was always like this."
Well—
The sound of the speaker came on and Dr. Cory's voice rang through.
"Raymond Lyder, please come to the office. Again, Raymond Lyder, please come to the office."I sighed and wiped my sweaty hands on my thigh.
"See ya later concrete."— — — — —
I reached to knock on the office door.
"Come in." A deep, husky voice spoke.
It sounded familiar somehow but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.I slowly creaked the door open and closed it behind me.
A man with a white beard and golden armor stood next to Dr. Cory and Agent 2.
Compared to the strange man, Agent 2 who was a generally bulky man, seemed like an ant.I gasped.
"...Santa?"The strange man looked at me with scrunched up eyebrows.
Dr. Cory cleared her throat and fiddled her fingers. She and Agent 2 exchanged glances. Their eyes were a bit red.I guess you would call this allergy season eh?
"You see, Raymond..." Dr. Cory motioned her hands to come closer.
I raised my eyebrow.
The man walked up to me and I bent my head up to look at his monstrous self.
I felt my neck straining just to look at him."I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time."
He spoke."Uh...sorry but who are you?"
He chuckled slightly and stopped right after, staring me dead in the eyes.
I got goosebumps.
This man is bipolar."Let's just say I'm not from here." He disregarded my question.
"Of course you aren't." I shrugged. "You're from the North Pole aren't you, Santa?"
The white-bearded man was unamused.
"I'm Zeus you idiot. The man who gave you your powers.""Oh cool." I nodded.
Wait.
"What did you say?"
The man smirked a bit.
"Are you deaf? I'm Zeus, I said."I slowly backed away and I felt two firm hands on my shoulders.
Agent 2 stood behind me, and shoved me forward."We'll let you two talk for a while." Dr. Cory spoke, bowing before she left.
I rubbed my eyes continuously.
I can't believe a God is standing in front of me."Right? It's unbelievable that I'm here."
My eyes widened. "EH?? You can read my mind too?!"
This is weird.
