Station 4

Agent 3 sat there with a poker face as we all piled around him.
He slowly stood up and Dr. Cory walked out from behind.

Huh?
Where did she come from? I'm pretty sure she wasn't there before.
I'm trippin'.

But now that she's here, I have an idea of what's gonna be happening.

If I'm right, she's gonna make us fight.

Dr. Cory nodded at me as if she read my mind.
"Yes, the last station is that you're going to battle."

Again. We're becoming war objects.

Dr. Cory smiled.
"So far, the rankings put Raymond as first place, and Lilliana now at second place. James follow in third place."

Oh wow..so I actually beat Lilliana?
I stole a glance at her but she was already glaring at me.

Oops...?

"So Raymond, Lilliana, and James will work as a team and battle against all 48 of you students. James alone is already stronger than me, but there's 48 of you so I'm expecting one of you to take out at least one of the three." Dr. Cory spoke.

Agent 3 gave a neutral expression and leaned in my ear.

Is he gonna give me some good advice?

I heard him whisper.
"I hope you die, Steward."

Wow. Shouldn't have expected anything from an asshole.
I pushed his face away and gave him a glare. Why does he keep calling me that anyways?

Now I definitely won't lose.

The students all looked at James and I with determined look. If I was being honest, it scared me a bit.

But that was only because James can freeze a massive number of people if they're grouped together, and I'm the strongest one here.

While even Lilliana who can control minds can only do it one person at a time.
But they're underestimating her.
She has water power too if I remembered correctly.

James showcased his abilities by freezing the girls on Valentine's Day.
And they must've enlarged their brains or something because as soon as the whistle blew, the girls all separated.

James let out a 'goddamit' and I sighed.
Lilliana scratched her head as the students circled around us like wolves, while still remaining distance from us.

Smart.

Gary was passing me looks that said he was grateful to finally getting the chance to beat me up.
But at the same time, it looked like he wanted to beat James the most.

Lilliana, James, and I went into a mini group and discussed quickly.

"Er...what now?" James asked, his voice was surprisingly calm.

"I'll back you guys up since I can't do much in this situation." Lilliana said firmly but then she hesitated.

"James if you make ice somehow, I can use that ice for my water bending."

He nodded and pursed his lips. "But I only drank so little water before the test so I don't know how much I can use."

One of the girls morphed into a black bear and charged toward James.
The guy who had wings flew at a high speed towards Lilliana.

James raised his hand to the air and an ice barrier wrapped around us.

The two people were blasted back and got up cautiously, backing up.
The ice barrier melted away as Lilliana swiped her hands, shooting extremely fast water towards anyone close to them.
