"YOU PEASANT." James proclaimed loudly.
He's so extra.
Sweat trickled down the poor captured guy's forehead."Please help us." James knelt suddenly, clasping the dude's hands.
My jaw dropped open.
Well that took an unexpected turn. The Eccentric King continued squirming in his chair.
"No matter what we do, they won't listen to us." Ena walked up next to me and sighed.
I nodded. "At this rate, we'll never get them to join our side."
Ena sat beside one of the captured ones and peeled off the tape from their mouths.I winced. He had a beard.
That must've hurt.
And how old are they to have full grown beards what the..."You WITCHES." He hollered.
"FREE US!"
Ena facepalmed and slowly placed the tape back on his mouth.Lilliana dragged her feet across the ground.
"Dr. Cory won't let me hypnotize them. She said that once my contact with them breaks, they'll revolt against us."She whined so loudly that I wanted to get some tape for her too.
"This sucks." I murmured. The Eccentric Kings still tried to free themselves against the glowing rope.
We all know that's not gonna work.
Apparently this dude knew it too and just stayed still, looking at us.Jason, the speedy runner, sighed in frustration.
"Can't we just beat them up until they help us? No—do we even need their help?"
He exclaimed it loudly enough for the captured ones to hear.I nodded along.
Julius, one of the top ranking students pipped in.
"Right. It's not like they're useful to us anyway."I saw the Eccentric Kings' faces fuming with anger, except for that hopeless looking dude who just continued to stare at us.
He's about to poke a hole through my stomach with all that staring."Haha their weapons are probably so crappy they don't even wanna show us it." Ena spoke.
I couldn't resist a smirk.
Provoking them eh?I joined in.
"Them Eccentric Kings or whatever, probably felt so irrelevant with their useless leader gone. Now they can't do anything cause they don't have any skills to begin with."They had confused looks on their face and only muffled sounds came out from the tape over their mouths.
A young guy, about 16 years old, stepped up. I've never noticed him before but it was definitely true for a fact that he was a student here.
"They say, 'what do you mean by that?'" He spoke, a calm ocean like voice."How do you know?" I asked.
"I'm Dew and I can read minds." He smiled.
I smiled back, but I'm actually thinking,
Wow that must be useless in battles if he can only read minds.Dew gave me a blank stare.
"I'm good at swordsmanship and archery, so I'm actually pretty good if I say so myself. Even so, I can not compare to you, Lord of the Sky."I awkwardly nodded and turned around back to the Eccentric Kings.
Well then, commercial break is over."So you ask what I mean by that?"
They stayed still, waiting for me to say something.
