"It's okay. We have a barrier around our academy. No one can see." Dr. Cory waved a hand frantically in the air.
"Don't panic."
Mhm...she's the one that's panicking.
"They'll be quite shocked when the earpiece leads to the middle of the woods." Lilliana frowned.
"How about we leave now?" Christina suggested.
"It'll take a while for them to trace our whereabouts."
Ena nodded viciously.
Some of the warriors shook their head slowly.
"We have nowhere to go."
Jason scratched the back of his neck and gave a cheeky smile.
"I want them to see us though. We're so cool."
Agent 3 facepalmed. "You idiot. What if they catch us and perform scientific experiments on us? Besides, they're kind of looking for that mysterious black figure."
"Well...they'll technically never catch me because I'm way faster than them." Jason retorted.
Jason was giving puppy eyes and Agent 3 didn't seem too amused.
I shook my head. The longer we stay the more suspicious we'll be.
If the investigators arrive here just while we're exiting the academy, we're dead.
It'll be like we just appeared out of thin air.
"Let's burn the academy." Some guy hollered enthusiastically.
What? Where did he get that impulsive idea?
"No! This is like my home. I have nowhere to go!" A redhead girl stood up defensively.
She looked like the girl from the movie "Brave".
"Well once they find us we'll be dead AND you'll have no home. How 'bout that?" The guy ended up standing too.
"WELL YOU CAN GO FUCK YOURS—"
"—YOU KNOW WHAT?!"
Chaotic. It reminded me of our first days at the academy.
I snapped out of my daydream to take in what was happening again.
"YOU JERK! NOT EVERYONE HAS PARENTS!"
"WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE A GODDDDAMMMNN HOUSE AT LEAST."
"Enough." Dr. Cory clapped. The room was filled with silence.
"I've got an idea."

We sat there in silence.
The red head girl started again.
"Why are we even—"
"Shut up, smile, and look at the fire." The guy from earlier spat.
She gave him a murderous look.
They had some serious beef going on.
Dr. Cory had told us to all to exit academy doors.
Thank god no one was there.
Some girl with the fire element lit some of the sticks on fire.
So now we're all just sitting in a circle like idiots. Apparently this is supposed to be a campfire? In...daylight?
"It's not even cold outside for us to have this fire here. We don't even have marshmallows." Christina whined.
"Can't Ena teleport and steal us some marshmallows? No wait...why couldn't she just teleport us all out of here?" Another healer named Vivian pipped up.
"And get us all caught once she appears?" Someone rolled their eyes.
I felt my ears twitch a little.
There were low voices from among the trees.
"You guys hear that?"
