Extra Hours

When Jun-Seo and I went to school, I immediately parted ways with him.
He probably thought I was suspicious and I also probably should've said something I left.

Ah...
oh well.

Needless to say, I am truly glad the day went by pretty quickly.
Each time the bell rang, I headed to the next class, and I just doodled on the worksheets.
When the teacher said to take out our homework books or whatever, I didn't even know we had homework.

But the weirdest this was that teacher walked right by me and started marking down grades for everyone else.
Like, I'm not even invisible.

But whatever. I'm not complaining. It's the most normal day I've had because no one approached me.

Lunch also came by pretty quickly but I didn't see James anywhere.
I'm not sure why, but I felt really alone today.
Maybe it's because no one was bothering me, but I was just by myself...
And surrounded by people I don't even know.

Literally nothing was happening today. Nothing.
I trudged back at Lilliana's place, where only some of the girls and guys were gathered, but I didn't know them. The guys were sleeping of course.

"Hey where are the others?" I asked.
About three of them squealed but Christina looked up at me.
"They're hanging out at the Academy. You should go."

Wait...at the Academy?
Are they talking about the mission we were assigned with people?
I haven't even been able to speak to Eliot normally yet.
Now that I mention it, I didn't see him anywhere today as well.

"Alright. Then I'll probably hang around at the Academy until training hours as well." I told them.

The girls nodded and smiled as I checked the time.
Only 3:34

Good thing this is a crappy school where you can actually walk to and from.
I planned on "hanging around" the Academy, but I really wanted to train.

My arms feel flimsy nowadays, like I'm not training hard enough.

I need to become better.

I started walking to the Academy. The road was bombarded with plastic bags, bottles, cigarettes, and paper.
It was trashed...

When I entered the path in the woods in order to reach the Academy, the barrier shimmered a bit to let me know that it's there.

I've heard that only students like us can see the barrier and school, but normal people are not able to.
Which is so convenient considering how many people probably wandered through these woods for a walk.

But I wonder if not only will the people not see it, will they feel the barrier if they actually bump into it?

I started wondering all these things, as I entered the barrier myself.
Because you know, I'm magical like that.

The Academy appeared before me as quick as I stepped in.
I smiled and walked through the doors.

But no one was there.

I scratched my head and walked through the hallways for each class.
No one.

Could they be...?
