Chapter 2: With Her

QUEEN'S POINT OF VIEW

When class ended, we left the classroom, her hand wrapped around my arm. I didn't try to remove it because I knew she would just put it back. Masasayang lang ang lakas at panahon ko.

I know how stubborn she is. She won't listen, no matter how hard I try to persuade her. I have a lot of patience with people like her, and I've met others who are even more stubborn. Bilang Reyna kailangan kung mag ipon ng timba timbang pasensya— hangga't maaari kailangan lagi akong kalmado. I need to stay in my posture and calmness, always remember the Royal Etiquette.

"You still chose to follow me," I said calmly, while looking ahead. She laughed mischievously.

I just smiled a little because of her stubbornness, I guess she forgot who I was, who she was serving. I warned her before not to follow me but she's still chosen to disobey the order. I shake my head. What a stubborn girl.

"I'm just your only friend... and I must protect and serve you while you're here at the Academy," she said seriously, hindi ko naman mapigilang mapangiti.

Yeah, Serena is my protector and my personal knight, but at the same time she's right, she's my only friend, she's the only one I've known while here at the Academy. Ang nag iisang tao na maaari kung asahan, magiging karamay. Ang magsisilbi anino at taong makukuhanan ng mga importanteng impormasyon.

"Do what you want"

MAHIGIT ILANG MINUTONG PAGLALAKAD NARATING na rin namin ang pinagtatayuan ng mga building for Students Dormitory, nakatayo sa East Wing ang Girls Dormitory habang nasa North Wing naman ang Boys Dormitory. Tanging daan lamang ang pumapagitna sa dalawang gusali.

I walked first towards the Girls Building Dormitory while Serena silently followed behind me. Bahagya ko munang pinagmasdan ang mataas na building bago diretsong lumakad papasok.

"Ayun sa nasagap kung balita, malapit ng ganapin ang Power Leveling" imik nito, lumakad kami pakaliwa at humakbang paakyat ng hagdan.

"What day?" Wika ko at tinignan ang hawak na Dorm Key.

"This coming next week..." next week? That's enough, may ilang araw pa kami upang makapag ensayo bago dumating ang Power Leveling.

"Ngayon pa lang natutuwa na akong malaman kung anong antas na ang kakayahan ko" aniya, bakas sa kanyang mukha ang pagkasabik. I don't blame her, I'm excited too, I also want to know the extent of my power.

"I think that's our Dorm Room," she said and pointed to a door. Sinundan ko naman ang kanyang tinuturo.

"Yes, that's it... let's go" when I saw the dorm number. I went there first. Gamit ang dorm key, binuksan ko ang pinto.

When I opened the door, we were greeted by a wall painted in blue and white, along with skin-tone accents and aesthetically pleasing white paint. In the center of the room, there was a living room set featuring a glass coffee table on a floor carpet. On either side of the dorm, scattered indoor plants.
