I stood there with my entire body frozen, as Jade walked towards Belle and then stopped right in front of her sweet, innocent face and glared at her. Next thing I knew I was trying to break free of Lance, one of Jade's friends, and was pushing past other children as I tried my best to reach her. I noticed them talking and I stood there spell bound. Were they actually trying to push aside their differences and become friends? Not possible, then why would Jade want Belle to be separated from us? There must be something more to this and I had to reach Belle as fast as I possibly could. Sadly, I was not in time to stop what happened next.

All I saw was Belle's lip bleeding and I knew it was her who did it. Now I was pissed. She could do whatever she wanted to with me, but no way in hell, was I going to allow her to hit my love. Still a few feet from them, I began to push people away, but it was as if the universe did not want me to reach and comfort her, since every time I moved forward I was pushed back at least three times further away than before, since bell had rung and everyone were all trying to make their way to class and I saw Jade disappearing into the crowd. I wanted to follow her but some things are more important, and right now Belle needed me and I would be the one to comfort and dry her tears. At long last, I reached her but apparently, I was the second one there.

It seemed as if when Belle got hit, all the books that were in her hand fell, but, now standing there helping Belle collect her books, was Brandon. " You ok Belle?" were the only words that could escape my throat. "Yeah, I'm fine don't worry," informed Belle but I knew her well enough to know when she was lying and these were one of those times. " Here, let me help you with that cut lip, so it would not look that bad." requested Brandon.I was so mad right there and then, since I should be the one comforting her but before I could have said anything, she replied,"Ok sure, thank you." I helped her up, she gave me a hug and told me not to worry one last time before she was lead away by him.
