Belle's POV

Brandon leaded me towards the nurse's office where to my amazement, it was like a deserted ghost town. There was a whirring sound coming from the air condition and it was like a soft hum but, other than that it was so very quiet that you could hear a pin drop. He helped me onto the examining table, and then began looking inside some cupboards where, he eventually found a first aid kit. Failing to open the kit, he began trying alternative methods where to my amusement, he succeeded but also failed at the same time.

Everything that was inside fell to the floor with a clash, since he basically broke the little white box. He looked up at me with an embarrassed look on his face, but I was laughing so hard that my sides began to hurt. Instead of being upset, he also began to laugh and that was the first time I noticed it.

Brandon was the exact opposite of his sister, while she was uptight and easily offended, Brandon was easy going and would laugh at his flaws instead of being ashamed of them. In addition, he had a sweet and cute laugh which somehow gave me chills to the bottom of my spine. These chills felt like tiny shocks of electricity filling my entire body and giving me a sense of happiness. Brandon's hair was a dark brown almost black in colour and his eyes were like a deep creamy dark chocolate. His smile was one that etched itself in my mind and I could not forget it. "How could I have never noticed these things the many times I saw him?" I questioned myself.

Seeing him struggling to collect all of the medication and other items, I jumped off the table but before my feet could land safely, I stumbled and I hit my head against his.

"Are you ok? I'm soo sorry," I said rubbing my head.

"It's ok don't worry about it. Wow you certainly have a lot of bad luck!" he exclaimed then chuckled. We grabbed everything from off the floor but before I could exit the room, he pulled my hand and dragged me towards him.

My heart began racing, and where he was touching my hand I felt a tingling sensation. He opened an antiseptic wipe and then patted it on my lip, it stung and I felt as if it was on fire. All the blood that had already clotted and dried whipped off and then he placed a bandage on the cut. I really had misunderstood him since he was not a haughty, rich, self absorbed kid but instead a sweet, caring and loving person.

I thanked him profusely, and then wondered what he would have said if he knew what I was thinking or, if he even felt any of the things I felt for him, for me. That was an interesting thought and it certainly intrigued me but then I thought, " No way, he won't because I'm just ordinary."

I turned and began walking to my class when Brandon exclaimed, " Belle, you really are different from what I imagined you know. Oh, I meant that as a compliment!"

" Thanks, and so are you, just so you know," I replied.

I turned away from him and walked to my next class with a smile on my flushed face, my heart beating as fast as it possibly could and my stomach feeling as if one thousand butterflies have just been set free.
