Hey guys so I know I didn't upload for a long time but to be honest, my computer is broken and I don't think it can be fixed and also I have been very busy with school. I hope that this chapter would make up for everything.'fingers crossed' Anyways, this chapter is especially dedicated to ididnot and Mary, so if you are reading this I hope you all enjoy, as well as everyone else of course. Love you guys <3

" What was that, Nikki?" I asked as I forced myself out of bed and stood to face her where she quickly reiterated what she said just moments ago. To my dismay, there was one thing she forgot to mention and that was who was waiting for me. I rubbed my eyes,so I could feel more energetic and I walked to my dresser, which was across from my queen sized bed, where I immediately brushed my hair. Normally, if I was home with just Nikki, I would never have done so but, a guest was downstairs waiting and I could not have my hair looking as if a bird made a nest, had babies and then died, now could I? I looked in the mirror, hoping that nothing would give the slightest hint that I was asleep, just moments ago and then made my way to the living room.

While walking down the steps, instantly I heard his laugh. That utterly unforgettable one, and all the butterflies I experienced earlier today came rushing back home, to my stomach.

" Hey," he greeted and I simply showed him my warmest and brightest smile. Sitting on the sofa talking to Nikki was him. Brandon.

" What's up? How come you're here?" I asked.

" Oh, I came to return your novel. You left in such a hurry and I thought you would have liked it back," he replied.

" Wow, that's so kind of you. I have to ask though, how did you figure out where I live?"

" Don't worry, I'm not stalking you, I just called Mary. You know, since she is one of your best friends and I got her number from her brother."

I laughed and he simply smiled and it was then I noticed he had dimples. I felt my entire face growing warmer with each passing minute an my smile just could not be removed, no matter how hard I tried to conceal it. Then Nikki entered carrying two plates of chocolate cake and drinks on a silver tray. I did not realize when she left since I was consumed in our conversation but, I was grateful for the treats. She told us to enjoy and then left to give us some privacy.

That was the amazing thing about her, she knew when it was time to give you some space but sure enough, if you were ever in trouble or in need of something, she would always be by your side. Some people would argue that, it is her job as my maid to do these things and that's the reason she is like this but, I beg to differ. She is the type of person that you could confide in and would always offer great advice and ways to fix any problem you may have. To be honest, since she raised me as a child, I feel as if I emulated some of her good ways and tried to be like her, personality wise.

" This is some really good cake," he said after taking a couple bites.

" Thank you!" I exclaimed.

" Wait, you baked this? You're like a baking master, this tastes amazing."

" Aww thanks."

Hold on was he complimenting me? Why? The cake I made could not be that great, could it? Nah, no way.

After about half an hour, Brandon's mom called to ask him where he was and when he would be returning home and it was then he decided he should leave so she would not be so worried. I stood up from the couch and was about to show him to the door when, my foot hit the chair's leg and I stumbled backwards.

Just as I was falling, I felt a hand against my back bracing me, and another on my hands trying to stabilize me at the same time. Brandon certainly had excellent reflexes and I felt my face was as red as a tomato. How could I be so clumsy in front of him? I was never like this with other people, and it was as if my clumsiness only originated after I met him. I felt every one of his muscles supporting me and when I finally regained my balance, I smiled, said thanks, and then laughed and to my utter surprise, so did he.

" You should really be more careful," he teased. "Oh I don't think I said this but you have a really nice penthouse." Those were his last words before opening the door and leaving. Picking up my book that he just returned, I went to my bedroom and laid on my bed to think everything through.

"Do I like him? What about Nate? Who do I actually like? Why do I always get THOSE feelings when I was around Brandon? Why was he complimenting me so much? Was it just politeness or something more?" Were some of the questions running through my mind all at once. Right now I was not sure of anything but there is a possibility that this is true.

That is, maybe, just maybe, I am Falling for Him.
