Chapter Two
Secret"Fajardo, Hailey Almira."
Tumayo ako at lumapit kay Miss Alonzo. Inabot niya ang report card ko. I signed a document before going out of the room. I graduated with flying colors and I saw the proof of my hard work just today. Hindi bale na, I'll make sure I'll keep it up in college. Hopefully.
Chloe invited us over for a movie night in their house. I can't even face Jayden because of the stupidity I made that night.
So, I declined Chloe's invitation. I have the freedom to choose though, so after the report card giving, I hurried up to sneak my way out of school.
"Hailey!"
"Who? Zywon?" she teased, as she fixed her short wavy black hair after wind blew in our way.
Alethia is smarter than me.
"Where are you going?"
"Home," I said quickly.
"Uwi agad? Don't you have plans? It's summer break. We still have four months before college."
Baka gusto mong sumama."
"Sa bahay nila?" Al asked excitedly. "Sure, para makita ko si Jayden."
I rolled my eyes. Alethia has a huge admiration for Chloe's twin brother, Jayden. Hers is even longer than the span of time I like Won.
I groaned and pulled myself away. She didn't budge and held me tighter.
"Why are you going home? Let's get some snacks," she encouraged.
"No one said I can't ditch it," she said and winked.
Ayokong pumunta, Al. Alam mo ang kalat ko noong nakaraan."
Humalakhak siya. "Oh, stop, Hails!" "Jayden won't say anything. He's not that type of guy. I can guarantee you that."
"You don't know the guy. You don't know what he's capable of."
Inirapan niya ako. "Sure, but Jayden isn't really the type to spill the tea."
