This is probably one of the nicest mornings I ever woke up to.

They're already back in Manila after their trip in Malaysia. They're back to work in the firm again.

"Akala galing kayo sa labas kahapon? Bakit ang aga mo magising?" That was my dad's first question after I greeted him in the morning.

I frowned. "Ayaw mo ba akong kausap, Dad? Hindi mo 'ko nami-miss?"

"It's not that. You're supposed to be resting."

I laid in my bed, my phone hovering above my face.

I only sent them my day-to-day pictures on our group chat, including those from Victoria Peak and Oceanpark yesterday.

"How's your stay?" he asked me. "Where are the others?"

"Believe me, Dad, I'm enjoying," I said honestly.

Mom waved at me.

"Kumusta ang Lola?" she asked.

"Mom, she's been spoiling us!" Then I told him about the day we went to Victoria Peak, the day Lola toured me in Meraki, and how she treated us to an expensive dinner when we celebrated Chloe and Won's months. Of course, I didn't mention the part where we went clubbing.

From the screen, I saw my dad glancing at Mom. He sighed and even noticed him caressing her shoulder.

"She introduced you to the hotel?" tanong ni Dad sa'kin.

"Yes, one time. She toured and introduced me to her friends here. Binigyan pa nga ako ng Prada bag!" The bag was still boxed and placed on my side table when I grabbed it to show them. "Mom, you'll like this for sure!"

"Friends?"

"Yup! Mr. and Mrs. Limlengco. They mentioned you, too. Akala ko kilala niya po kung sino."

Dad didn't look interested but his face showed that he recognizes them.

"They're a family friend," he said shortly.

"No wonder Lola wanted me to meet them," I said slowly.

My parents didn't respond after. He smiled and shook her head when I asked him if there's a problem. Wala naman daw.

"What else have you done?" he only drifted the topic away.

"Wala pa po gaano. It's only been two weeks."
