man, was it loud. baby was glad he kept his headphones in his ears. baby didn't knock on the door or ring the bell, as he would have done normally. he just opened the main door and went in. baby knew there was no reason to knock on the door, because it was almost nine pm and the house owner was probably drunk.

it was quite dark in the house, just a few lamps turned on. baby saw a room in farther distance that was well lit (a/n: we littt bro) and another one that had many colorful lights coming from it. so that must be the dancing room or whatever jessie called it.

baby tried to make his way through drunk teenagers, it was quite hard. everyone had cups in their hands, full of alcohol, and they were dancing, making out with someone or just standing by the walls.

"will you dance with me?" a drunk girl with blonde hair asked baby. her hand was wrapped around his forearm. she was allie, one of the most respected girls at school. interesting.

"sorry, no." baby said politely, more like shouted politely over the music. he gave her a soft smile before removing her hand and walking further into the house. allie wasn't the only one who tried to get baby to dance with her.

all of the people in that house were drunk, so anyone would do anything their mind had come up with. ask strangers to dance with him, jump in the pool with clothes on, dance on the bar counter, whatever they wanted. baby had seen many movies with party scenes and, well, he learned about being drunk from those.

he was never too hyped about parties. baby didn't go to parties because a), he had work almost all the time; b), he took care of his dad, c) what was the fun in getting drunk as hell and not remembering anything you did at night? baby understood drinking a little, dancing and having fun. but if people took it to an extreme level, partied every weekend and did it hardcore - baby didn't get it.

"hey, man! what are you looking for?" a guy approached baby. he was in a wide room now filled with people, somewhere in the middle of the huge house.

"um..." baby looked around, trying to find jessie or any of his friends with his eyes. instead, his eyes found one person he had actually forgot could be here. "i found my friend, but thanks anyway." baby said and walked past the guy.

she was standing between two girls and the three of them were communicating lively. baby was just standing a few feet away, watching her talk until her eyes gazed upon him.

"baby!"
