baby got home a little past ten in the morning and the first thing he did was find joe. he was sleeping in his bed, but he was awake. baby smiled at him.

"hello." he said to joe. he lifted him from the bed and put him in his wheelchair. 

"hello." joe said the same to baby. "how are you feeling?"

baby pushed him out in the hallway and then into the kitchen. "i'm alright." he said to joe. "do you feel good?"

"always." joe said with a smile and baby responded with the same. he went into his corner of the flat's main room and put on a record that gave him saturday morning vibes.

baby made joe oatmeal for breakfast and added honey and sugar to it. he also made some coffee for his dad and himself, and placed both everything in front of joe on the kitchen table. he sat down  opposite his dad and watched as he ate his breakfast.

"what did you do last night?" joe asked baby in the middle of eating. baby smiled wide and shrugged.

"nothing serious. it was funny." baby admitted. he drank his coffee.

"anything else worth mentioning?" joe asked with raised eyebrows and a smile. baby shook his head, but kept the smile on his lips hanging slightly.

he turned to the kitchen window and sighed, resting his head on his hand. all he could think about was the situation bella was in. and how he could get her out of there. 

maybe baby should tell the police? if bella is afraid to tell her own mother, he should tell someone. no, scratch that. baby's working for criminals, so going to the police would only cause him and doc big trouble.

should he tell someone at school? but bella doesn't want anyone to know. she only told baby because she was drunk and everything poured out of her accidentally. her brother knew. 

but her mother and jessie and other friends didn't know. baby wondered how had she chosen the only two people she trusted with this. maybe she didn't trust others well enough. but her mother? well, she basically explained that to baby while they ate breakfast.

but still... baby wanted to improve bella's situation. however he could.
