"baby!" he heard a girl yell out his name from behind. it wasn't any girl, it was bella. oh, no. baby stopped walkin down the school hall and turned around.

the girl was jogging in his direction with her hair flowing all around her face. bella smiled once she saw baby looking at her. baby almost melted. what does she want from me?

"hey." bella said with a wide smile once she reached baby. he didn't say anything, he was just waiting for her to get to her point. "we have math class together." baby's eyebrows raised. "do you mind if i sit with you?" baby shook his head. 

bella nodded, slowly starting to realise he was really a hard one to crack open. but she didn't want to annoy him. she actually wanted to know him. 

baby resumed to walk to math class and bella walked beside him. she took in how tall baby was and how broad was his frame. he could be playing basketball, for sure. maybe baby did? or perhaps he played volley ball? 

baby and bella reached the math class and baby took a seat in the left line of tables in the fourth row. and bella sat next to him. she took out her pencil case, math notebook and then looked at baby. he was sitting there, looking at bella.

"what? do i have a third eye?" she asked with a chuckle. baby shook his head with a slight smile. "do you have any notes or anything?" baby shook his head.

"i memorize." baby said softly. bella raised her eyebrows.

"really?" she asked. baby nodded. "you remember everything?" baby nodded again. "but how do you hear the teacher with those headphones?" bella asked, touching the headphones slightly. "by the way, are those beats or jbl?"

"i lip-read." baby said, taking bella's hand away from his headphones.

"wow." bella said. "impressive. and you're getting interesting with every conversation we're having."

baby grinned. it's only the second time, have i let her know maybe too much about myself? he watched as bella turned to the math teacher who had walked in. she took out her pen and colorful pencils and opened up her maths notebook as the teacher started talking. 

baby changed the ipod and searched for the right songs. a soft tune started playing in his headphones and he looked at the teacher, as much as he wanted to look at the girl next to him.
