JAI’S POV

The whole time Jess was telling us everything she cried, I found it hard to look straight at her. I listened intently but looked at Luke and around the room, I could see she was hurting. And I knew that it was my curiosity that was putting her in pain. As soon as she told as about being in hospital she squeezed my hand, hard. That part killed her and it still kills her today. I had to wipe away the tears when Jess finished, I had caused that pain, and I wanted more than anything for it to go away.

It was 5:15 and Beau had just got home from work, Jess was having a shower. I warm one this time, I told Beau what had happened. ‘I knew she looked familiar’ he remarked.

‘That video was amazing!’ He said with a smile.

‘Shut up!’ I yelled punching him. ‘You can’t speak of that video, okay?’

‘Yeah, I get it. Hey I saw the picture of you two, and the comments?’ Beau’s voice was lower. I slumped onto the couch and put my head in my hands. ’Jai, you alright?’ Beau said with concern. It scared me, the side of Jess I saw today. I hurt me to think that she cried and I couldn’t stand the thought of her in pain. ‘Luke and I ran home, Skip showed me the picture, and the comments. They were horrible. We open the door and screamed her name, we found her in the bathroom. She was sitting in the shower, fully clothed with only the cold tap on. She was absolutely freezing, Luke pulled her out and I grabbed a towel then Luke helped her get changed into warm clothes. She sat with us on the couch and she fell asleep.' 'You alright Jai?' Beau asked, I shrugged. 'That’s a lot to handle, I know you care for her. It must have been hard on you.' I nodded at Beau, he knew exactly what I was feeling, but it was nothing compared to what Jess must've felt. Jess hoped out of the shower and put on some clothes that Luke had grabbed out for her. She looked so cute in our baggy clothing. The four of us sat watching TV while mum made dinner. Jess chose a show for us, she put it on 'How I Met Your Mother'. She said it was one of her favorite shows, we hadn't watched much of it before, it was so funny. Jess laughed and giggled at it, I was relieved to see her happy. At quarter to 7 mum called us to the dinner table. 'It smells and looks great Gina' Jess said politely. Mum smiled, I think she liked Jess, which was good. Mum was okay with Jess staying at ours for a few days, at first she was I little worried about what her parents would think but now she doesn’t mind. This is good, because I’m expecting Jess to stay til the end of the week. Jess and I helped pack up dinner, she even helped me wash the dishes. We got it done pretty fast, which was good because I hated doing the dishes! Luke, Beau and I had arranged with Skip and James to do a U-stream today. Jess said that was cool, and she had always wanted to meet them. There was a knock at the door, I was in my room, Jess shouted 'I'll get it!' I heard James and Skip greet her. 'So you must be Jess,' I heard James say. I ran to the front door to see the boys giving her a hug. 'James, Skip! Come in' I said smiling, 'Luke's just grabbing the laptop, I said sitting on the couch. They came and joined me, Jess sat on the other side of the coffee table, she knew that was where Luke was going to put the laptop. Luke walked into the living room, popped his Mac down and started madly typing away, within a minute or two we were live. We got asked heaps of questions, and we all answered them. I needed this, I needed to get my head clear, to have a laugh with the boys. Jess sat patiently, watching us and smiling. I winked at her at one point and she blushed, it was adorable. After 40 minutes we wrapped it up 'bye everyone,' we chimed waving to the laptop. 'So how many views did you get up to?' Jess asked.

'5 million' beau replied.

'5,000 that's impressive boys' she replied. Then she looked at us, ' I know you've already done the 3L Rainbow Milk Challenge, but I'd like to challenge you to do it again, I think I can beat you.... I passed the cinnamon challenge and I've always wanted to try the milk challenge.' Jess said it with enthusiasm. I looked at the boys, 'bring it on Jess!' Skip smirked. 'You don't know what you're getting into' Luke said looking at Skip, 'she's a tough one.

' 'We’re in' James said smiling, 'where and when?'

'Tomorrow after you finish school?' Jess asked, I could tell she was excited.

'Sounds good', I replied nodding at Luke, ‘We’ll come home, get changed and walk over?’

‘Yep, I’ll walk down to the shops and buy milk. What colours do you guys want?’

‘Pink!’Beau shouted with a giggle.

‘Just grab a whole heap of colours Jess, we don’t mind’ I said rolling his eyes.

‘Okay. Well I’ve had a massive day so I’m going to head off to bed.’ Jess gave each of us a hug and walked off. ‘How is she?’ James asked, I looked at Luke did they know? How?

‘Yeah those comments were so rude! I sighed with relief, and so did Luke.

‘She coped with it really well,’ Luke said, I nodded in agreement. ‘Nah, she’s good about it now.’

‘Is she the reason you?’

‘Yeah, but we don’t need to worry she’s doing well,’ I smiled.

‘Well I don’t know about you Skip but I’d better get home.’ James said looking at the clock at the opposite side of the room. ‘Yeah, I should head home too,’ they smiled and waved as they walked out the front door.

JESS’S POV

I went and brushed my teeth, put my hair back and I headed back to the twins room. The thoughts had comeback, stronger than ever. I had promised Jai, but this is a battle I fear I will lose on my own. I sat on the mattress on the floor, sighing to myself. I didn’t know what would make them go away, I couldn’t stand the thought of doing it here, but I fear I may have to.
